If it is anything like the anime I very much doubt many could call it fanservice as it is pretty sick stuff.

Fits perfectly. I'm only going off the anime, which may or may not follow the manga, but judging from the first episode, there's a lot of narration from inside the minds of the characters, i.e telling the audience about their desires and what they think of everyone else.
 
Just looking at those pictures and reading the last page has just made me want Gantz so much. I'd noticed it before but had not taken much interest in it~ but it seems like just what i need; a good adult series as a break from the majority of shonen that i buy. Another series this thread has got me majorly interested in is MPD Pyscho; looks awwwesome!!

Anywaaaay...back to the topic ~ i ordered Bleach vol.13

In Gantz, the main character wants to bang a fellow member of Gantz, simply because he's a virgin and she's "hot" and has massive breasts, but she's really not pretty at all... he's a stereotypical male teenager in that he wants to sleep with whatever girl he sees. Further in the manga there's guys who want to gang rape another female. It has -some- relevance to the plot, but it's mostly Gantz's fan service, Berserk has rape and crap too, I'd say Gantz has more though, but it's more realistic as it's modern Japanese society. >_>

Won Naruto Series 2 part 2, new and sealed, on ebay for just under £10.... unfortunately i didn't win part 1 lol.

Also won Best Student Council Volume 1, new and sealed a few days ago as well for just under £7.

Was gonna buy some manga... but then I didn't. I originally went for the Gundam Boxsets/Patlabor movies/Tenchi OVA 3 tin, but I ended up not getting them, haha.
 
YAY! I finally got To Terra, vol. 1 in the post today! ^___^

Her style seems very similar to Tezuka's, but I've only glanced over the first 10 pages, so I'm not totally sure of it yet!
 
Just bought Fairy Tail 1 & 2, and ordered the One Piece DVD stuff...thought I ordered it weeks ago, but apparently not.

Just watch me get like, six copies now... -_-
 
I got a Tenjho Tenge key ring which I got given to me by one of my college teachers after doing a presentation on anime and manga and suggesting the Tokyotoys shop in the Trocadero
 
Best Student Council Vol 1 arrived today, a very fun, goofy anime i'll be tracking down more of these.

This also marked my 800th DVD :D

Loved Best Student Council, very funny series.

On a quick count I have probably around 800 DVDs (need more shelf space) but I still get the feeling sometimes that I still don't have enough or I have nothing to watch.
