This is pretty depressing frankly XD
I feel sorry for the continental Europeans who have basically just got God Eater, Miss Monochrome The Animation 2 and Rokka (and maybe Gangsta if they speak French). If Viewster doesn't come through with the Aniplex titles they haven't yet got regions for, they're going to be pissed.

BLOCKED [SIMULCAST]:

Chaos Dragon: Sekiryuu Sen'eki
Site: Funimation

The series page went up before the announcement. Now that leaves one more slot left. It's possible that Funimation might add more titles later on similar to what they did in January by adding Maria the Virgin Witch and Yatterman Night at later points.

As usual, French-speaking areas have far more than we do at present. Remember that they have their own streaming services.

And this is how legal streaming ends; not with a bang, but the wispier of "Eff off, Limey" and the loading of a thousand BitTorrent clients.

The real problem is the way US companies are allowed to take UK rights in the first place.
Just picking this out to make sure it doesn't get lost in amongst a lot of big posts. This is such a fundamentally broken system that I have no idea how long it would take to fix it.

Agreed. How many UK rights must Funi be sitting on and not doing anything with? At least CR attempts to get them and uses them when they do, and is even showing signs of getting them without US ones (Black Butler Book of Circus for example)

I believe a lot of the FUNi shows from seasons past are on Netflix in the UK, hence they probably technically are using their UK streaming rights, just not in a manner we like.

And to be fair to them, maybe they're telling the truth when they say UK streaming is "coming soon", but I doubt it.

Anime Limited have licensed Castle Town Dandelion (Joukamachi no Dandelion) for the UK.

They will be streaming it via Viewster and releasing it on home video in 2016.

That's a strange title to license, well I guess it will get along with Fate/kaleid then.

I'm just appreciative they are licensing the TBS titles that would either be unavailable to the UK on Crunchyroll or has been blocked out by Funimation (in this case).

Except Anime Ltd. don't have the second series of Fate/Kaleid (and on that basis they probably won't have the third either), so even if they are complimentary titles it's still a weird acquisition.
