Summer 2015 Legal Anime Streaming Thread

As previously discussed, Animax will probably have shared UK rights to One-Punch Man, as Viz Media Europe co-licensed it with ACJ and Viz Media.

So maybe they're planning a comeback?

Could they come back into the Sea?

Well that was unexpected. I kind of question how popular the Prison School anime has actually been though - maybe I'm just not reading the right outlets, but it doesn't seem to have attracted as much attention as I'd expected.

Everything I've seen suggests it's very popular, but nobody wants to admit to watching it, and because of the show's content, it's very hard to discuss in any kind of detail without breaching common decency.

Nice to finally have somewhere to watch it in the UK. It seems like it didn't come from FUNimation, the subtitles are different, so maybe AL have expanded their territories for it?

There's also the fact that the Shriobako crowd can and will pile driver you into the ground for holding that opinion.

It's kind of depressing but that's probably true.

I didn't realise the two were related. Maybe that explains why we don't get to see most of the girls' high school life in Shirobako.

The studio and individals involved with Shirobako are doing this. So yeah, instead of more of that we have Prison School.
Shirobako was P.A. Works and Prison School is J.C. Staff. The only common corporate link seems to be Showgate...

They're both directed by the same guy, who also did xxxHolic, Genshiken and Girls Und Panzer. The studio is different though.

Now I'm back home I can finally update this thread. Some of you have already updated everyone on the latest stuff so that's cool.
