Summer 2015 Legal Anime Streaming Thread

Gangsta. on Daisuki has come from FUNimation, it has the FUNi logo at the beginning. So maybe Anime Ltd. haven't been entirely truthful with us with their reaction to Jerome M's comments. Interesting that Daisuki hasn't mentioned it on Facebook though, so maybe it's a mistake and it's not supposed to be up in the UK.
It's not a given; Manga's streams of Brotherhood had the FUNimation logo at the beginning but they licensed it from Aniplex (they used FUNimation's assets) and Anime on Demand must have used Seraphim's files for Un-Go as it was hard subbed.

Except, the version on Viewster didn't come from FUNimation, as it doesn't have the FUNi logo and uses the Viewster standard typeset for the subtitles.

If Anime Ltd. had a clean version available (clearly they do, because they passed one on to Viewster) why would they give Daisuki a version watermarked for an entirely different company? Unless, Daisuki can't be bothered to reupload a separate version for the UK...

NEW ADDITION: UPDATE (DELAYCAST):

And ANOTHER one, haha.

Bikini Warriors
Episodes 1-5 are available, will be delaycast
Daisuki

Studio listed is Yomiuri-TV Enterprise Ltd.

So that's all four Funimation titles now appearing on our end.

Either way we now have another accessible title.

Monster Musume and Bikini Warriors were announced around the same time, so I'm curious to see if MonMusu ends up on Daisuki for us.

Interesting that the UK doesn't count enough to get it's own announcements and/or episode updates from Daisuki. I get they're all delaycasts/late announcements compared to other territories, but surely sending another Facebook update isn't that hard?

Is this the first death knell for Animax?

Terror in Resonance and Tokyo Ghoul Season 1 have been removed from the service before.

---

On another note, how's everyone doing with the whole Viewster Omakase stuff. I'm only a third through the 20 sign ups needed for the prize. Tougher than I thought, I even managed to spread the word out to 200+ people.

NEW ADDITION: VIEWSTER EDITION (CATALOG):

School Days: Magical Heart Kokoro-chan
Original Japanese w/English subtitles
1 Episode
Viewster

Listed as Episode 13 on the main School Days page. OVA 1 isn't available for licensing for those wondering.

Ask and ye shall receive, Andrew Partridge has just confirmed AL hold the rights to root A and it will be released 2016 Q1 all going well...

So I was taking a look at how Animax is doing and I noticed some things:
- There are no free simulcasts going on.
- Fairy Tail is stuck on Episode 239, the current episode everywhere else is 246.
- Nisekoi: managed to reach the end of the series, so all 12 episodes are up.
- SNAFU TOO managed to reach the end of the series, so all 13 episodes are up.
- And as mentioned, Tokyo Ghoul √A was delisted.
- No simulcasts from the summer season.
- Anime Limited's other remaining titles still up on the service: Durarara!!, TGOW, Gundam Reconguista in G, Perfect Blue & TPPIOED

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if we heard word of Animax's demise within the next few months or so.
I imagine that's why they're were doing the survey. Noticed numbers are going down and wanted to get an idea on how to keep its current members while using it at the same time to gain new members with the discount code. They'll probably stay inactive till they decide how to act upon the survey feedback or put into action the plans they likely already have.
