Rate the Last Anime You Watched Out of 10

Assuming they continue the current run of films at the same rate, I'd say there's at least enough material for another two movies before they catch up to where the manga is. Probably three at a stretch, but they might be struggling to get a logical point to end on.
 
They could slow down because it's material people haven't seen yet in anime. Film an arc or something. It could be a bit like how fmab rushed it's first 13 episodes.
 
If they did it as a longer OAV series, it might work, but if they're trying to follow the Golden Age cycle, I'm doubtful about how well any of the remaining arcs (other than the Birth Ceremony) would stand on their own as a cinema feature. I liked Chapter of Lost Children, but as far as I can remember, it wasn't hugely relevant to the overall story and could come across as filler if it were filmed.

Yeah I'd agree on Griffith's characterisation.

Strange thing is I enjoyed the 1st (on 2nd watch) and 2nd films but the 3rd was where I felt dissappointed although I would agree it's the best film. Maybe my expectations were too high, plus I thought we were gonna see a bit more after Gutz escapes from hell. Like how he gets his new hand and an ending where he was ready to take the next fight, maybe rushing into a fight right at the end but it was more somber. I just hope we get more and this isn't the end. Maybe my disappointment with the 3rd is more to do with the fact that it left me a little flat.

I think i'm inclined to agree here. I said my part of the first two films and enjoyed them a lot at the time, but coming off of the tv series and the manga, they don't actually match up. The battles stand out well, the combat animation is great, but you can tell the style they are going for is still very experimental and in many ways that hurt what more the films could've been. However i say that, the third film does show that it can work, but it still will take some time.

I said this on my review for the site, but the main issue with the films as a whole is they lack of characterisation for the rest of the cast and the lack of certain events which i felt needed to be there in the first place. Sure, guts, casca and griffith got a good showing, but what about the rest? I never felt as attached as i should've. saying that, characterisation was always going to suffer with it being a movie trilogy of such a large part, i still just kind of wish they got more in.

The third film scoring i still stand by, 8/10, but there is a part of me that wishes i could go back to the first two and re-work them to 6-7/10. Not because they where bad, they really aren't. They just didn't hit the right notes for me. Missing key scenes to a particular characters' descent into madness or the way they covered the flashbacks for guts and casca are where i felt a little disappointed.

I hope we can all agree however that the soundtrack was top notch? I really loved how bang on it generally was.

Legend of the legendary heros

Where the hell do I even begin with this series....well to start off with

1 I thought it had a slayers feel to it but changed slightly to do something else.

2 it's charecters are so dull and predictable and no charecters development

3 nothing was resolved and left open alot of unanswered questions and I mean alot and lots of things was unresolved.

I wouldn't of minded if it finished and resolved everything ...but no we're just left with a huge cliff hanger ...

I would like to know how the hell it's so far up on the list cause I wouldn't say it's a terrible anime but

Story is all over the place
The characters are boring
The setting of seen a million times like in slayers and such.
Animation...average

I'm giving this a 5/10 maybe I'm being too hard on this anime but it was so dull and nothing is resolved

I'm 20 and I loved Noragami :lol: enough to buy the manga as well. It doesn't seem particularly aimed at a younger audience or anything.
 
I think it's probably because I tend to look for anime that is really good and or looks really good based on recommendations. Also movies have spoiled me for a lot of TV anime animation wise.

We're in a Chinese dynasty
Then modren day stuff comes in
And loads of other stuff

The animation is dated
The dub terrible
The story...2/3 is bad but it does have drama in the 1/3 of it.

At first I wasn't interested but I still watched it.

Naruto blood prison

To be honest I thought this was a good idea...putting naruto in a prison.

But the last bit at the end was so predictable it was like any other naruto movie.

I KNOW YOUR A NATION THAT LIKES TO HAVE EVERYONE WORKING AS A TEAM BUT FOR GOD SAKE DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

NOT A BAD MOVIE BUT AGAIN ITS LIKE ANY OTHER NARUTO MOVIE.........pushbutton ideals on to us.......south parks more sutal then naruto with its preaching.

Robotics notes

In the beginning I thought it was going to be the

Same old school settings
Same old character types
Same old story about friendship

Ect ect

And to be honest that's what I got .....in the beginning.

But as the story progresses I started to like the characters.....

We got the shy embarrassed girl ....but we got a shut in girl who is also a slob

We got the childhood friend but this one is so much fun and hyper.

It takes place at school but not exactly

These a show within the show that seems to be some sort of a parody of gurren lagann...not exactly but sort of similar.

It's basically about giant robos but more realistic If it was real in the future of 2020.

The story is pretty good
Tue characters.........pretty damn good....well more like enjoyable to watch.
The animation....iv seen better but it's not bad ether ...I'd say above average

I really liked this series I think it was trying to show us what giant robots would be like if it was real........in a way.

SAO first season

This show is awful ! Everything is horrible. I feel I had waste time of watch this show. I have say you why this is horrible. I have massive problem with this show. Characters is very important to me. SAO characters is so boring and dull. No one is interesting character. I not know why all of girls chased to Kirto ! It's really annoying to me. Story is horrible. First episode is really good start but goes downhill. I think 2-15 episodes is really boring and basic nothing. I really think they should better on story and characters. 16-25 episodes is sightly improvement but still horrible. Villains is very disappointed ! I thought they are powerful but they are a cheater and weaker !
Animation and fight is a good. I guess it is only positive for show.

Tiger and Bunny - 9/10

Can't believe this wasn't a major hit. I'm put the blame firmly on Kaze and not releasing a standard edition complete collection.

It kinda reminded me of Bebop and Samurai Champloo, in the sense that it didn't have a deep storyline but it didn't matter because it so was so much fun to watch, all the characters were great and I'm looking forwarding to watching the Beginning and Rising coz I need more of these guys.

I took an instant liking to the show, it had one of the best opening eps I've seen and this was largely to do with Kotetsu, heart of a lion, never say die attitude and always thought about others first. What's not to love about the guy. I'll definately be keeping this show and hoping I get time to watch it again.
 
Fate / Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works Season 1

I think concerns about whether they'll be able to maintain the same crisp pace when the show starts up again are not without credibility, but so far, this has been just about everything you could possibly ask for from an adaptation of UBW, effortlessly sweeping away the shortcomings of previous Fate anime. Despite being a tv production, I think it would shame most theatrical features with its sumptuous visuals and expert handling of the source text.

Now if only someone were mad enough to fund ufotable to give Berserk the same treatment :/
