Well after a few years of always missing the start and suddenly noticing it was on, I finally watched all of Totoro today. Have a few others recorded from the film4 season, but I always thought this should be the one to watch around new years.

It's kind of amusing how a film in which relatively little happens could be so delightful and it was a 9/10 for me :)

To be fair, Porygon does have pretty sharp edges, so it could stab someone if it wanted.

I am now re-imagining that scene with Asakura replaced with Porygon.

A Beautiful anime brought down due to the dullness, boring characters and crappy plot. This got so many good reviews aswell. Some people are well easily amused!

ok after i finish haruhi suzumiya il watch it in the other 2 ways and give you my decision on how the series holds up, so far its a really really good series.

Darker Than Black: Gemini of the Meteor and the OVA

Mixed feelings with regards to this. Again there's interesting ideas and good soundtrack, but there are little niggles that got to me. For example, constantly showing the time wasting scene in which Suo's anti-tank rifle came out from the meteor. Still, maybe the manga version will be better.

Sounds epic. And by epic I mean if you look at it in a "so bad it's good" ironic fashion. Otherwise it sounds genuinely awful. The fact that the trailer takes itself so serious doesn't help it's cause.

That's exactly it: judging from the trailer, First Squad plays it disconcertingly straight. A plot that barmy needs the Hellsing Ultimate treatment.
 
haruhi suzumiya season 2

before i start id like to say, even tho the endless 8 was annoying, i actually think they was kinda a good idea. and the series was really good and after taking all the episodes and putting them all in order its a really really good series, the characters are awesome the animations pretty, the storys all over the place ( literally lol).

looking back on season 1 and 2 i believe haruhi suzumiya is a dame good series and i praise this series as awesome

putting season 1 and 2 in.............. 10/10

Almost zen-like in its dissection of the truth.

All I can say regarding some sort of conclusion is don't worry bro, there'll be a second season. And, uh, Yozora is on the cover of the first LN, so don't expect too many surprises. ^^;
 
The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya

WOW just WOW, i was blown away by this movie, it was really amazing truly amazing.

i know the movie is long *very long* and it took its time which was nice for a change, in most anime movies they get straight to the point but this movie strings you along. the animation was more beautiful then the series, the storys really intense you just cant keep your eyes off it not for a second, and the characters were great.

fantastic movie to a fantastic series. usually i would go for shows like gurren largann which would be a 10/10 but the series and the movie gose over the limit

The Melancholy of Haruhi-chan Suzumiya & Nyoron! Churuya-san

umm i find haruhi-chan fun to watch and its kinda funny but the nyoron episodes was dull and boring so if your going to watch theses start with nyoron episodes the haruhi-chan

Ouran High School Host Club

I usually stay clear of romantic comedies, but this one was brilliant. There was much to laugh at - the characters, the situation, the setting etc. I also like all the stuff to do with Haruhi's different background compared to everyone else (i.e. she's from a normal income, everyone else is super rich). I think that it is something that as Brit I find funny because it is all to do with class, which is something we've been making fun of for years.

Most of the anime I think are the best usually in some way move me. This is different, I think that this is one of the best because it is truly funny. I'll have to try and get the manga to see how it compares.

house of five leaves

this series was dubbed so it was a pain to read and watch the animation.

this series is based in the age of the samuri * cant remember what era * and it hasn't got any over the top characters with powers, its a nice story, you know samurai champloo well house of five leaves isn't all flashy like that but it has true to life japanese culture sort of thing going for it with a samurai genre.

the animations isn't bad
the characters aren't bad
the storys not bad

its just a true to life japanese culture series. its wasn't great but was nice to watch .
