K-ON! S2

8/10

Retains all the humour and ridiculously cute charm of S1, my only gripe would be that maybe 24 eps was too many and another 13 ep season would've been enough as I thought the show probably should've ended with episode 20 which had me in tears. And instead it kinda just fills some time for a few episodes before giving a bit of a flatter ending. Didn't think the OVAs were too great, but the Planning Discussion!! one was fabulous. The murder mystery idea of selling the Light Music Club had me in stitches.

Mawaru penguin drum

Brilliant just brilliant

This series is like nodaka magica you think you have the series figured out but it's has a lots of twists and turns

Il just say this

The animation is gorgeous
The story is amazingly good
The characters are good

It's a great series to watch over and over

9.5/10

And there was no fan services which is great

Is this a Zombie? Of The Dead

Hard show to rate, as there wasn't an awful lot to the second series. The first half was nearly all filler, then a decent little plot kicked in, only to be forgotten in a final episode that wasn't a resolution at all.

Thankfully the cast of characters were great throughout the season, with Tomonori being the star in the first half and more scenes with Eu talking bolstering the second half.

Great concept, ruined with the execution

First ill talk about what i did like, because there are more i dislike, so i'll do the likes first. The first four episodes were great! It set up a interesting and mysterious plot that kept you guessing, a gritty and dark tone, introduced some cool characters and had some very fun action scenes. The second episode in which Ganta enters a race to get points and candy was great! It definately made you feel sorry for poor Ganta and made you realize how dangerous DW was and how f****d up it was! Ganta's fight with Red man and his first meeting with Crow were awesome and gives you the impression that the fights throughout the series is going to be great! And the whole concept with the Deadmen and them using their own blood as a weapon was very original!

Then it quickly got boring

The plot never becomes interesting like it was in the first four episodes, Instead we see Ganta joinging a resistance group who are trying to escape, which could of worked, if it wasn't for the boring-ness. Nothing intersting happens while he's with the resistance group. I would of liked to have seen more stuff like episode 2. In fact, the whole show becomes very boring after the first four episodes! The fight scenes were very tame, the characters become less interesting as it moves on and the animation in nothing special,

Also alot of things were not explained or not expanded upon! What happened to Yo? Why did Shiro kill Gantas class mates? Why did she kill the old man who attacked her and who was he? What was the thing that destroyed Tokyo? What exactly is the branch of sin? Why did Ganta forget about Shiro? Actually, what the hell is Shiro?!?!? who was she, what was her past why is she strong why are there two Siamese twins that look like her? WHAAAAAAT!?!?!?!?!?! NOTHING IS EXPLAINED!!! This anime feels unfinished! It ended like Berserk! You have to read the manga to find out what happens next! Really? To hell with that!

Overall, Even though it had a wonderful and original concept, Deadman Wonderland just feels rushed and unfinished. It needed a 26 anime instead of 12. Go watch something else.

Sacred Blacksmith

Got this off Lovefilm, finally and first episode was alight if somewhat boring with the wonder girl and young nasty man (Plus Loli Elf complete with Monica Re) routine but the promise of some decent swords play kept me going. Then we hit the second episode and the fight was quite good and the swords play and feet work was good to see.
And then Cecily's Armor broke (and she had nothing under it even thogh she was clearly wearing undercloths previous) and then s' got stupid fast with Young Nasty Man suddenly breaking out into the sterotypical blood letting through the nose and everything.
By the time she slapped him I had turned the DVD off.

Nay

(I was aiming to have that one shot of Homer making "Paint your wagon" eject into his bin but I can't find it.)

The third

This is kinos journey meets desert punk meets tank girl.

This was a nice anime to watch, it wasn't over the top good and it wasn't boring but It should of been longer.

A girl with a talking tank is a Jack of all trades but she doesn't kill that's the one thing she won't do and she has a fellow who's from another world who has contracted her to show him the sights of where she goes.

The animation can be a bit clunky
The story is nice at times
The characters are kinda likeable

It was a good anime, not good good but good if you know what I'm saying.

Classic case of aiming for a 2nd season but failing to make it, leaving the viewer very unsatisfied.

Deadman wonderland

Bad ass just bad ass

I like the setting and the Gore, ok it was censored but I'm getting the bluray so it will be uncensored,

I just really like this series it's different to what iv been watching, all hearm anime and **** but this is a good series and I really hope it gets a second season,

The problem is that it was too short and yes it should of been a 26 long episode series.

I feel in love with the opening music too it suits the series.

More popular in the west than in Japan though.

Weren't you complaining about fan service just the other day?

AF is firmly in the yes to fanservice camp, though we have at least confirmed he stops at Granny tits.

Having watched the Sacred Blacksmith I can't actually recall a scene like that however, unless I've blanked it from my mind ofc.

Only if it gets in the way of a good story.
Or
It's in your face all the time in every single so like qwaser or queens blade.

How ever if it's creative or given to us in a funny way and not in every episode then yes

Like

Cat planet cuties

The two girls ride a bike naked
Those anti matter bullets
Strip rock paper scissors

Something like that bit I get tired of seeing the same thing

Like guy walks in to a bath room and sees her naked
Hot springs episodes
Beach episodes

That sort of thing I just wish they was more creative

And possibly a unique sort of girl
