One Piece collection 4
7.5/10
Good stuff :)

So This collection starts off at the beginning of the Drum Island arc which lasts about 14 episodes. It's a pretty enjoyable arc and was better than the previous one, as it has good new characters, great humour, decent action and a very touching and interesting plot. The biggest highlight of this arc obviously is the introduction to Tony Tony Chopper who easily a fan favorite among One Piece Fans (He's one of my favourite characters aswell actually) which is easy to see why: He's so damn adorable! I don't usually find characters who are supposed cute to be that cute (if that makes sense) Because most of the time they're are pretty god damn annoying! Chopper is just naturally cute! He makes adorable faces, He has a nice voice, he's very funny and he's really nice as a person! He's just generally a good character actually! I think one of the best moments in the arc is his back story. It's very touching and sad. The scene in which Dr. Hiluluk dies was absolutely heart breaking, but also beautiful because of Ave Maria playing in the background. Definately one of the more powerful scenes in the entire series! If i had to say anything bad about this arc, its the arcs villain, Wapol. While he is one of the more comical villains, he isn't as threatening as someone like Arlong or Don Krieg, making him a slightly lame villain. Also he's beaton pretty easily

The remaining episodes cover some of the Alabasta arc which is EASILY one of the best arcs in One Piece. These episodes get pretty tense in terms of whats about to come in later episodes. I found some of these episodes to be quite funny aswell.

Overall, One Piece Collection 4 is far better than the previous collection. Bring on collection 5!

Ok, so I finished Paranoia Agent almost two weeks ago. I still hate the ending theme/song and video, just ick haha but the opening really grew on me. Really really intriguing and interesting. Overall maybe a 7/10 as some episodes were meh to me.

I also finished High School Of The Dead a couple of days ago and well, now I feel empty. They really had potential to make another series or two and I felt gutted that it was over. My bf LOVED the amount of fan service haha. It was just immensely enjoyable to watch and I loved all the characters :) 10/10 for me. 100/10 for my bf lol.

I'm now watching Shiki season one. Finished the first disc so watched 6 episodes. Each episode flies! It's odd as like nothing much has really happened yet but I am enjoying watching. Wasn't 100 sure I'd like it due to I guess being supernatural/horror sort of genre but I really do. I LOVE the amount of Fullmetal Alchemist VA's are in it :D There's not going to be a Season Two is there?

My bf seems to be "tolerating" it giving me hope that he'll watch Trinity Blood with me and Hellsing Ultimate as I'm half way though the latter and have not yet seen the former.

I still can't find time to get into Kanon yet nor resume the last half of Ergo Proxy. After all this I might try and get into Black Lagoon as I'm enjoying that I'm getting through my backlog a bit.

Can't decide if having the boy watch Bleach from Season 8 is fair on him too haha,

Loved this series, the labyrinth's are quite weird at first though i got used to them and the moment i saw Kyubey i knew he was evil

FMA Brotherhood OVA - 8/10

I think this is what they usually call one for the fans, haha. I thought the first episode about human transmutation was really good and the last one I really enjoyed, the background on the friendship with Roy Mustang and Maese Hughes. The other stories were enjoyable but these were the best. I think you could have slipped most right into the series and they would have fit well and that was exactly what I was looking for.

My god you watched them fast. Lol! I seem to remember enjoying Green Legend Ran and I remember They Were Eleven and was quite decent. I'm totally with you on the others aswell.

They were 11 was actually pretty good to be honest
Ran was good too.

Anyways it was easy getting though started from the shortest to the longest.

Horizon on the middle of nowhere

At first It was confusing to follow it was like one of those anime with political stuff in in, and it sort of reminds me of sengoku basara in some ways,

The tits was huge in this too.

And what the hell is up with the main character is he high or something.

It's got a huge cast too

Animations nice
The characters are likable
The story's ok
The action kicks ass

Shiki Season One Disc 2 - think I've almost finished that disc. Still really enjoyable albeit slow but that's kinda good as I'm like aaaaah want to see what happens next!

Beware of the true monsters

Shiki is awesome. An actual honest to God decent horror series that is genuinely creepy at times.

Oh it is and if I could forget about this series and watch it again I would, but it's what happens later on that pisses me off and a certain character too, actually it's the whole group that posses me off.

Linebarrles of iron

I hate the main character he's a prick he's everything you don't want in a hero, and I'm going as far as to say I'd rather have shinji from eva as a hero

The characters designs faces are awful.

The CGI isn't bad but if seen it before

The opening reminds me of another

If seen this sort of anime before.

Yeah I really didn't expect any part of it to be creepy or like disturb me but yeah, Setsuko. That's all I'll say. Genuinely made me angry and sad and hard to watch sort of thing. The kind of thing live action does to me that I didn't expect anime to :)

Onto disc three tonight so hope to have the series done by tomorrow or Sunday although since it's chinese new year weekend, I'll see.

Rather gutted there's no more series. Like I'd kill for a Kids On The Slope Season 2 too, just to pick up from where it ended or even just a film to finish it off for me as it left me empty. I need the KOTS version of the FMA Conqueror Of Shamballa as that filled my emptiness with that series hahaha.

Seeing as I want to clear my backlog I feel I should try to give Black Lagoon or Trinity Blood a go next. Atm not even in the mood for either so it might be resuming rewatching FMA Brotherhood.

Shangri la

It started off slow and it bored me but I got in to it, it has a (C) and spice and wolf feel with its economics and money and stock.

It I had to say how good it is I'd say it's in between-

Average and good which would be a ok

Finished Shiki off. I dislike the ending purely cause I would of rather it finished instead of had the possibility for more like it did.

Was an enjoyable watch. I've gone into a bit of an anime slump now. Reaally uninterested in ones I already have but haven't seen and mroe tempted to buy that AOL DOTW and watch that before out else. Hmmmmm.

Why dislike the ending I think I know why it's cause the humans lived isn't it, yeah that pissed me off too. But at least the little vampire girl and the monk got away and happy that bearded old bastard died he got what was coming to him especially the way he died in the manga it was way more funny then the anime.
