Dragon Ball Z: Broly - Second Coming
6/10
NOWHERE as good as i remember it being

The movie in general feels REALLY lazy. A really naff plot, some recycled animation, mainly Brolys transformation and really short and brief fights. and how the **** did Broly survive getting punched in the gut by Goku after taking everyones power!! He seemed pretty dead! That's what i call lazy writing.

Although the fights were really short, They were entertaining at least. Like Gohan trying to get Broly trapped in the lava, which was pretty clever. Also the Family Kamehameha at the end was epic! Definitely the saving grace for an overall very average film. You should actually watch it just for that last scene.

Overall, not a great DBZ movie, but is worth checking out i guess.

I saw that yeah it was really lazy,

In the last movie he was in it took

3 ssjs and A super namikien
He even took a point blank kamehame ha wave on and received no damage in fact he didn't even blink and he was getting even stronger and had to release some energy, and after 7 years go by he's even stronger thanks to he's saiyan gens and has gone legendary so he's super strong, th it's very lazy

I thought most of the dragon ball z movies were meh, which is why I recently sold them. I did like one of them though but can't remember which one. I never got to the last few, hope I didn't miss anything.

The one with Dr whillo
The one with the tree of might
The one with slug
Android 13
Bojack
Broly
Broly 2
Clone broly
Janimba

My personal fav was the 13 movie, his accent is hilarious

K on

Drinking f****** yes and eating f****** cake, as much as I like moe anime I just can't help but hate and like this anime

At times I want to slap the main cast in the face for goffing around and not playing there instruments, it's nice to watch a relaxing slice of life anime but this series was way to freaking long it should of been a 13 episode anime.

Guy if your going to watch this make sure you watch a anime movie you haven't seen before and make sure it's between 6 episodes between them because there was only so much moe I could take,

I'm not saying it's a terrible anime I'm saying it's just to damn long for a nothing show.

I like the movie because it shows us there in London.

I was happy but sad to see it end but all things cone o a end.

Tokyo revelations

I saw this on sci-fi back when i was younger and boy did it blow my mind but after seeing it again after all these years it's not as good as I remember.

There's a few things that's not explained and its rushed but on the other hand it's nice to see a oldie like this again ..............Oh nostalgia

Ef: A Tale of Memories

6/10

Not as good as when I first saw it a few years ago, but there's certainly some other interesting things I've noticed since then.

Didn't realise (or even know who they were) first time that this was a SHAFT show, explains all the awesome and interesting visuals..even if they are sometimes just there to pad out a scene for the budget (I'm looking at you counter/phonecall scene).

Also never noticed how absolutely bat**** insane all the girls are! It's borderline School Days levels of crazy at times.

Still quite a good show, even if it's not quite all it was that first time around.

Last exile

To start off the animation looks beautiful........screw it have a loook at this,

Fam

The second season was just ok but my problem with it is it doesn't concentrate on the two main characters from the first season it's a new cast with a few old faces, the thing is its not a as beautiful as the first season but is just more CGI-ish and the story doesn't explain a few things and doesn't concentrate on the things in the series that we want to know like in the last.Episode near the end and a few other places

Even tho it can be clunky at times it can be enjoyable at times but sometimes you know. What to.expect.because youv probably seen a anime like this before

Hakuoki season 1.
An overall average anime which could have been better if not for some problems. My main complaint is the protagonist, Chizuru, who is the most useless and helpless character I can remember seeing in a long time. I often had to restrain myself from shouting 'you idiot!' at the tv as she fumbled around helplessly while the Samurai actually got stuff done. I believe a main character is supposed to drive a story forwards, not sit around and let others do all the work as was the case here. The large cast of Samurai have much stronger characters than Chizuru, and are much more interesting to watch (especially for female viewers, I expect). They all have their own distinct personality, and some backstory would have been fascinating to watch had the plotline not been so rushed. The date would advance regularly by months or even years within a single episode and drop the story right in the middle of new events with little build-up. When you combine a large cast with politics and mysterious goings-on there is a lot of ground to cover and the anime had to fly through the story with little time for some much needed character development, outside of some of the central characters. I hope this will be addressed in the next two seasons, although that is too late for some of them.
Also, the whole supernatural element to the story felt tacked on and was very weak, especially when compared to the historical story about the war which is easily the best part of this show, and really came into it's own in the last episode as the Samurai are forced to come to terms with being an obsolete form of warrior when confronted with western rifles and cannon. I feel this anime would have been significantly improved by dropping the Devils plotline completely, which incidentally would remove Chizuru from the show and leave more time for character development for the Samurai (a win-win scenario in my opinion).
I should also note that the idea of a single female character surrounded by strong males may sound like the blueprint for a harem show, but that is really not what happens here. In fact there was almost no evidence of romance at all in this series, although there was one episode with a few minutes of topless Samurai fanservice for the female viewers to enjoy.
So overall, Hakuoki has some strong elements, but has serious flaws as well. If you have an interest in the time period, or just like some manly eye-candy, then it might be worth a look. Personally, I will be watching season two as I find the wartime story to be very interesting, and the trailer suggests that this will be more prominent than it was in season one. However, if it wasn't for that I would almost certainly have dropped the show here and now. 6/10.

Garden Of Words - 10/10

What a film.. It maybe short but it goes into so much depth with the characters and the story. The animation was the best I've seen, the soundtrack and characters were amazing aswell. If you haven't watched this movie I suggest you pick the Blu Ray up now.

Working!!! Season 1 and 2

The first season was fun to watch and is a great slice of life comedy

The second season was good too but the main character with glasses in this season seemed more mean then he was in the first season which pissed me off so a point get deducted for that.

But I really do recommend this anime series to every one it's fun to watch and it gets funner and funner and.

Spriggan

A pretty average movie, saved by the absolute awesome animation and action scenes.

I have alot to say about the action, but i'll get to that later. The story was pretty weak and Nothing was really explained really well. Who are Arcam? a company who destroy old artifacts or something? I don' know. Why did Yu go to Turkey in the first place? For revenge? To investigate? EXPLAIN! Also the character development was pretty weak. Characters aren't really introduced well, they kinda just appear and you're supposed to root for them. If they had showed Yus back-story at the beginning rather than the end, i probably would of liked him more. But that's just me. I felt like this would have been better if it was a series rather than a film, so it could introduce and develop characters better and have a better plot.

The saving grace is the action scenes. Now, I've been a anime fan for YEARS, and i have seen some absolutely mind blowing fight/action scenes. But the action scenes in Spriggan are some the best i have seen in all my years being an anime fan. They are absolutely flawless and balls-to-the walls insane and it just keeps on going. How the hell has Akira and Ghost in the shell get SOOOOOOOOOO much attention for it's animation and Spriggan gets nothing?! The animation in Spriggan is 10x better than Akira and GITS! Im' surprised this isnt as popular as those. This doesn't get attention at all in comparison! I'm completely shocked.

Overall, Even though the story and the characters are weak, The animation and action scene make this film worth buying. BUY NOW FOR THE ACTION SCENES!

Un-Go

I hadn't really expected much from this, when it originally aired I didn't bother with it because I thought it might be just another average detective show with a gothic/alt style look like Gosick, so I was pleasantly surprised by just how much I enjoyed it. I found the characters all to be really interesting and absolutely loved the character design. It had quite a dark edge to it at times, which I liked. The dub was very good, apart from using what seemed like the same 3 people for minor characters all the time...sometimes within the same episode!

My only real complain was that I went through the series really wanting to know more about Shinjouro and Inga's past only for it to be delivered after the series in an OVA that wasn't really that great. I was anticipating some really cool and tragic backstory but didn't quite get it. I also really wanted to see Rinroku get his comeuppance. There was just something really off about the guy and he always seemed to be serving his own needs, I thought the last 3 eps were heading towards that but it was pretty much a happy ending for him.

Shame there doesn't look like the chance of a 2nd season to give me more of what I want.
