Fake

To all the Fan girls out there this ones a must for you, it's a age 12 yaoi anime, I had to force my self to think they was 2 chicks when they kissed, I cringed when that happened.

The story's straight forward.

Two detectives gose to England for a holiday and ann and and and and ................... One of them is trying to get the other in to bed * shivers* .......................... I'l let you find out what happens, it has a bit of a mystery.

Its a oldie
The dub is ok I guess

For me it's a 5/10 because guys on guys isnt my thing, now if it was girl on girl ................oh baby shoooooooowwwww me

But surely you should of known from the synopsis

Dee Laytner and Randy "Ryo" Maclane are two New York cops taking a needed vacation in England. Dee has very strong feelings for Ryo and wants to take this chance to advance their relationship (and if he's lucky, maybe seduce Ryo). Ryo doesn't understand his own feelings for Dee, and doesn't know if he wants to (or should) acknowledge them. Their vacation and relationship is suddenly disturbed when murders and missing person reports keep surfacing around their hotel. The only common tie the cases have is that all of the victims were Japanese or Japanese descent. Dee and Ryo have to solve the case before Ryo, who is half Japanese, becomes the next victim.

Ahahaha, well, not as bad as I was imagining from your level of trauma at least.

Yeah in retrospect, after having been exposed to all manners of anime madness over the subsequent years, it's pretty tame haha. But back then I'd only just got back into anime and was still leery, so it didn't take much.

Rayearth

It was a good ova, I like the character designs, sort of reminds me of escflowna.

The story is of mediocre

The action is pretty good for a oldie and the animations the same,

Pretty good 7.5/10

Legend of crystania

Yet another fantasy adventure anime

You have the knight, the healer, the elf, gods ect ect ect everything you need to make a game after.

It's average at best

6.5/10

King of thorn

I thought it was a very good flick and the story was good too, the animation was really good and at times I could see it was CGI like freedom, yeah there making loads of those, the dubbing was pretty good as well In fact the dubbing was spot on, I don't want to say anymore in case I give to much away to the story.

I thought it was good and it deserves a

8/10

Black Butler S1

8/10

A rewatch before finally seeing S2. One of the things I love about this show is it's a perfect blend of shojo and shonen: the sparkly, beautiful men with a hint of shonen-ai mixed with the dark, brooding plot and psychological battles. I think it's also a rare example of an anime doing its own thing compared to the manga and being just as good.

I still absolutely love this too:

^ LOOL yeah

Loups=garous

I'm disappointed with this one because I was expecting a mystery drama with vampires or something like that judging by the cover that's what I was thinking when I saw the cover, but it was that good

The animations nice and the future of technology is something too.

The story is a mess and the final boss is a disappointment and there are a few things that could of been added and a few things that could of been left out.

It's a disappointment and wasn't thought out well

5/10 for story
Animation 8/10
Characters 6/10

Your not missing anything

Couple of films I watched recently:

Mardock Scramble: The Second Combustion - 3/10

Okay, we've got a giant flying egg, a place of indeterminate nature called Paradise run by a disembodied head, an openly homosexual dolphin and his cyborg partner, sky sharks, and lots and lots of dreadfully boring casino porn (the nadir of which was the pretentious dialogue exchange between Balot and the dealer). The First Compression had some oddities of its own but nothing like this, and more importantly it was actually entertaining. I struggled to stay awake during The Second Combustion. Gets three points for the nice visuals, naked Balot, and what the hell, the sheer barmy audacity of the sky sharks.

Arrietty - 8/10

I was immediately charmed by Ghibli's renowned creativity and attention to detail: just watching the Borrowers go about their daily lives, every little movement and expression beautifully animated, filled me with the kind of joy I only seem to get from Ghibli movies. The plot meandered along, though, and Arrietty's old man had all the personality of a plank of wood. I watched the UK dub and wish I hadn't because Sho's voice was like nails on a chalkboard. Arrietty's was okay but, based on my quick sample of the JP track, lacked the slightly masculine/tomboyish quality of her Japanese counterpart. Still, I mostly loved the film and will watch again. In the original language next time.

Colourful the movie

Well my first thought to this movie when I finished it was * brilliant * completely absolutely brilliant,

Summery

A soul is given the chance at life again in the body of a boy who died and has so long to think what he did in his pervious life so he can pass on.

The story is touching and it makes you stay and makes you want to listen and watch; ( side note some of the anime iv been watching lately was all that interesting ) but this one had me glued to the screen.

The characters are memorable
The animations nice
The story is really good

I'd say this is probably one of my new fav anime movies

I'm going to give it a

10/10

It's just brilliant

Oblivion island

The story has a bit like Alice in wonderland sort of feel to it.

The animation/CGI is amazing if this was in 3D it would be even more good.

Summery

Haruka looses her mother to illness and it's only her and her dad and she has a mirror her mother gave her as a kid, one day she gose to the shrine where a god is supposed to give you back something you lost and she comes a cross a lil fox and follows him to his world.

The colours and visuals and superb in this and like I said it would look great in 3D

I'm giving this a 8.5/10

Zaion I wish you was here

I thought guyver when I saw this in a few ways, it's nice and simple but it could of been longer to build up the story a bit, it's a bit rushed and the graphics aren't bad,

It's a good sci-fi anime ( I enjoy sci-fi anime )

Macros Plus - 9/10

This has been sitting on my shelf for about 3 years now but after listening to ANN Casts Revenge of the 80's and then 90's, I thought it was about time I watched it.

Firstly I loved the relationship between the characters. 2 male characters Dyson & Guld (now both competing test pilots) & a female character Isamu all former friends with history, it was set up from the get go.

The animation was superb, I really miss the warmth of old animation it still gives me that buzz when I watch it. The action scenes really stood out here but all the way through I was constantly looking all over the screen to see what the animators had painstakingly drawn by hand. It looked gorgeous. The soundtrack was also immense, although I don't know the name of it a special mention had to go to the song that played throughout all four parts it was hauntingly beautiful.

Usually 90's anime is let down by a bad and in some cases dreadful dub but this I am glad to say has a pretty good one but that's no surprise given some of the talent on board, even if it is early in their careers. Richard (Bato) Epcar, Steven (Spike Spiegel) Blum, Beau (Jet Black) Billinslea and it even has Bryon Cranston doing a decent job as Dyson

I have been hoping for years that there would be a gem from the late 80's or 90's that I hadn't seen yet. I found it.

Despite Zac's less than ringing endorsement on the aforementioned podcast, I would seriously recommend seeking out the earlier 'Do You Remember Love?' film if you enjoyed Plus and haven't already seen it.

Angel sanctuary

I don't know what's worse, on the borderline of incest or yaoi cause the main guy in this anime needs help cause he is a sick sick man,

The dub is bad I mean like really bad

The animations nice tho

The story is cut short * thank kira* it went on a cliff-hanger

There was some scenes that was really awkward to watch
It wasn't that interesting for me

5/10
