Rate the last anime you watched out of 10

I can't remember him drinking off milk, was that when he kept rushing to the toilet? If so that kinda made me laugh, only in anime do you see them go to the loo, couldn't imagine that in western animation, although I am sure someone will correct me on that :p

I know what you mean about standing around and explaining things, the 3 eps I watched last night were like that, hopefully be back to form tonight.

Good stuff :) Nice to see a continuation from OVA 4 which was released over here years ago. Lots and lots of violence here with some nice music. Animation still looks great. Although, it wasnt as action heavy as the previous ones have been. Also, in the previous 4, it useally ends with Alucard having some epic battle with someone. Unfortunately this doesnt happen in this installment. Oh well, only a minor nit pic.

Overall, Probably the least best OVA so far, but still fun. Hopefully the next three will be better :)

Mardock Scramle: The Second Combustion

I tend to see the middle part of a trilogy as as the most limited in terms of what it can do. It has to advance the plot and characters established in the first part, but not too much otherwise there'll be nothing left for the concluding chapter. So it is the case here.

On the plus side, the second part delves a bit more into the underlying mystery that culminated with Rune's premature demise in the first movie. Some tantalising hints are being dangled, no doubt to be explained and resolved in the concluding chapter. As a result of this exposition, the action is toned down. What's there is imaginative, to say the least. Flying sharks, anybody? There's also an indirect nod to Monty Python and the Holy Grail as a character regards two severed arms as just a flesh wound. Where this title really won me over was at the casino. The pace and editing made for compelling viewing here, the cherry on top being Rune's confrontation with the roulette croupier.

So, Second Combustion sticks to its plan to buy time for the third part without boring the audience. I wanted to give it 7/10, but the aforementioned casino infiltration raises it to 8/10.

Great fun! Better than the previous OVA. Zorin Blitz is an absolute BADARSE!!! The scene where she does the illusion is amazing! It included great animation and fight scenes!

Onto the next :)

This is like a video game, well in fact it is based of a game, I think. Ummm I haven't played the game and I think you have to be a fan to understand it. The CGI looked good but there's not much of a story and no depth in character development.

Amon saga

This Is a oldie, this reminds me of the tv series Hercules the live action one for some reason, and the story is very basic and the supporting cast seem to have more character development then the main. The animations aged, but it was ok.

Iv seen hellsing ultamte 1-8 it is brilliant now all we have to do is wait to get the last freaking 2
 
The asylum session

You know the series freedom with it's awesome CGI animation well this movie is a down grade version this it's CGI. it's kinda rushed and such.

This ova is soo cheesy the characters are cheesy the musics cheesy, it was like a anime with in a anime like the ones you see anime characters watching on tv.

Early reins

It was a short 35 min anime about 5 women in the west trying to protect a train from bandits and that's pretty much it.

The animations ok the characters are ok it's a ok lil flick.

This was BALLS TO THE WALLS!!! This is the kind of madness i expect from Hellsing. This was by far the best installment from Collection. I liked this one for two main reasons: It gave Seras alot more development, which the TV series and previous OVAs didn't include much of IMO, and the GOD DAMN ACTION SCENES!! Seeing Seras kick some Nazi vamipre arse was soo much fun. Her fight with Zorin was also a blast!

WTF did i just watch? SO much going on! The vatican killing loads of people, Alucard returns and unleashes ABSOLUTE HELL and has a different form for a short while, Alexander fight alucard and stabs himself in the heart and turns into some freaky plant thing and manages to kill Alucard!!! R U HAVIN A GIGGLE M8? This has probably got to be the most insane installment yet. Even though it had alot of action and violence, it felt slightly overwhelming, plus it ended in a HUGE cliffhanger. Just hope the last two get dubbed and released.

So that's it for Hellsing 5-8 collection. I've been waiting ages to see these OVAs. They were great, but it saddens me to say this: They couldn't hold a candle to the first four OVAs. I don't know what it is, it just didnt have the same great feeling the first four had. Oh well. But still they are great fun!

The weathering continent

This is a oldie but not very old the animation still stands, it's a not so bad fantasy anime film I mean it alright there's not much on the characters and the story is straight forward.

3 girls in giant robots who fight for justice, you have the genius, the tomboy, the layback, the woman who's full of her self, and have to stop a witch in ep 2. Simple oldie.

New hurricane polymar

A updated show From the 70s anime, it's generic and cheesy and the detective in this is so annoying and not just him the rest of the cast is too, polymar is ok of a hero. There's a few scenes with nudity, it's basically very simple 90s short anime.
