Post a photo of your entire anime collection!

Thanks ElixEideJ

That steelbook from Black Lagoon was the special edition for the first season in the US. I think all 3 volumes came out that way. I only bought the first one and never bought the rest of the show, thats why i have the full series in a dvd/bd combo that came out last year.

Okay, updated pictures. There are live-action dvd's mixed in with the anime but it's mostly anime.

Huge collection, but come on bro, differentiate that **** :p

I keep my anime and live action seperate, plus I keep my BDs and my DVDs seperate, but thats just the OCD in me wanting the case heights to match!

I don't separate anime from live action, nor BDs from DVDs, either. I only separate music video collections/concerts since the circumstances for wanting to pop one on in the background are usually different.

Isn't it weird keeping season one of a show away from its sequel where one is on BD and the other DVD-only? Or the live action spin-off movie or event DVD away from the anime version of the same series?! And what happens if it's a combo pack or non-standard case (e.g. Beez cases, which are higher than normal)?

It's bad enough when you get a series which changes names halfway, or in different regions. They don't consider the implications for collectors who want a beautifully alphabetised shelf ;_;

R, with mild OCD

My OCD won't let me split them up, all dvd's should be together. And alphabetised. But if that bugs anyone you should see my books, I have the hardbacks mixed in with paperbacks. It drives everyone I know completely crazy :twisted:

@Britguy

Did they fix the small subtitles for part 2 of Katanagatari?
Only asking because I know they did with Arakawa Under The Bridge x Bridge.

I really need to watch more of Katana sometime. I bought the first half last year >_>

I cannot recall having issues with the subs, but I do remember them being smaller than what I was used to, but I appreciated it as they left more room for the gorgeous artwork and animation.

@Britguy Nice collection, I love the NISA sets I really want to get the Natsume one

I would have loved the premium versions of Pandora Hearts but there so hard to find now

Yeah, the Natsume set is the nicest thing in my collection.

I wanted to get Perrsona Trinity Heart sets, but again, they're quite expensive :/

Just reading this has me feeling extremely uneasy. Do you also keep PS2 games mixed in with PC games (for example)? Fiction books mixed with non-fiction?!?!?!

I mix novels and manga :D

Games are separated by platform. If live action DVDs required different hardware (all of my BD players can play DVDs, after all) then I'd probably segregate my shelves too, but live action adaptations of manga belong next to anime adaptations of the same series, as do event DVDs! And the combo pack situation would completely stress me out, too.

Never discuss with an AI about ordering data...
