Slowly getting some CDs as well as BD Anime.

I agonised a bit about saying it and I hope it doesn't offend you, but in case you didn't know, that Hatsune Miku CD is a Taiwanese bootleg, not the real CD. I would recommend not being a patron in future of whichever shop sold it to you as an official product. The real version has catalogue number MHCL-1568.

:O
I actually bought it from the expo yesterday, and it even has a little poster in the slipcase and everything.
I wouldn't have thought it was.

I remember when I was in London with my brother and his fiancé and we were in Stables Market and my brother purchased a Nick Cave vinyl, then on the bus home, as we inspected it, we realised it was fake (he worked in a record store at the time, so he instantly knew the catalogue number was fake when he looked at it, also the printing of the barcode was kind of sketchy). Fortunately, his fiancé actually has connections to Nick Cave, so she managed to threaten the seller into refunding. It is amazing though that people can make such convincing fakes...then balls up on something as small as catalogue numbers xD.

I only have a few CDs, which I purchased during my younger years in the fandom, so I would not be at all surprised if they turned out to be fakes too.

Nice to see it's not only my Shana that has a bit of a damaged top...could have packaged that one better.

They're so ubiquitous that I think most people are probably guilty of having at least one Miya Records bootleg in their collection if they hadn't heard about them beforehand. Once you're aware of them however, they're very easy to spot. Quite why they thought it was a good idea to create their own record label to release bootlegs through rather than forging the logo and catalogue number of the original is beyond me. It's the forger's equivalent of doing this:

AUKN knows some cool people. :thumb:

Almost all of the stands at Expo which sell CDs and aren't attached to a major UK distributor in some way sell bootleg CDs (there are only two exceptions IIRC). It's very annoying.

Nice collection of Blu-rays. But it has not escaped my attention that they are arranged alphabetically... in reverse order.

Sort it out, man. That's beyond the pale.
On my shelf they look nicer arranged Right to Left. That's the only reason I have done it. ;)

Also, random question.
What do the numbers on the side of the Studio Canal cases mean? Is that the order that they have been released or something?

I think it must be the order they are released.

Also, I guess it's to bug the collectors to get them all xD

I still have a nice looking bootleg of the CCS vocal collection that has been OOP for years (I've twice seen it come up for auction and failed to obtain it). It became obvious it was a bootleg as they reproduced the booklet that came with it which lists all the other CDs available, and the bootleggers very clearly replaced the catalogue numbers with their own as the print is completely different.

Here is a photo of my asian cinema and anime DVD's and few blurays as of a year ago:

Add a few blurays other than that it's the same. The left top 4 shelf are asian cinema. The right is nothing but anime, other than the bottom shelf which was all mu blurays at that point.

I'm happy with it. I moved into my own flat and properly sorted them out into alphabetical order aswell, before that they were all mixed up and some were boxed up as I'd run out of space in my bedroom at my parents house.

I was happy with those bookcases too, my local Homebase £29.99, I bought 3 to add to the 2 I already had.

Also add a couple more Patlabor model kits.

Yep, I didn't bother taking another photo as it looks pretty much the same as a photo I already had on my phone.

The only real differance is the bottom right shelf is pretty much full of blurays and actually counting only 1 extra model kit on the top, the others are on top of another bookcase.
