Haha the shelves are actually really cheap (Ikea Billy), they do the job and I'd grab another one but the problem is raw space! I plan to have a complete revamp in the future but I don't have the time or space right now.

What's that Kanon dvd?
Is it an original nicer release than the one available when I ordered or perhaps the Toei version?
 
Yeah i've lent out more than I usually do. It's to 3 people though who I would trust with anything. I don't trust easily (I don't let my Sailor Moon box set, Takarazuka dvd or some other things out of my house) so it says a lot. I do intend to make a list tomorrow though just in case!

Kanon is one of my favourites, and that's way nicer packing compared to mine. Call me a little jealous :) its a shame Funi never did a BluRay release as the show looks good in HD, I'd grab the Japanese release as I heard they put englush subs on it but no way I can afford £500 for it. (I'm amazed the Japanese can actually afford some of their releases!)

Still amazed no one licensed it for the UK either!
 
Hopefully before the end of the month I'll be moving into a bigger bedroom, so I might have the space to display my collection xD (Right now, I have DVDs hiding others due to being stacked due to space).

Not like it's anything to write home about though....only really impressive thing is the Beez Haruhi LEs

Ooh which Takarazuka show do you have on DVD? And would you recommend it (I'm guessing yes)? :D

Lol. it's not a demotion, it's just my anime is now slowly encroaching on my standard BD collection space, i'm planning to get two more of the same storage towers to keep everything seperate.

Cripes, Alex, how many copies of S&W S1 do you own? (Incidentally, until just now I thought your username was "axelrose" - you know, after him what's in Guns N' Roses.)

I have that same Basilisk box set. It is gorgeous. Funi don't make 'em like that any more ;_;
 
Few photos of my anime room. I'll be getting more shelves soon (on the walls, no more floor space since room is tiny). Basically, a year ago after my grandad died my nan said I could have the TV that was in his bedroom, and we could turn the spare room into an 'anime room'. So i've got a bed in there, a standing shelf, multi region dvd player, N64, Gamecube, original Xbox, tv and Takarazuka posters.

My bedroom is where I keep my PS3, 360 and DVD/Blu Ray collection of normal tv shows and movies. When I go to Kitacon in April, my friend i'm travelling with is staying over at my house the night before we leave. He will be sleeping in the anime room. Though knowing him, he'll be up all night watching it! Hehe.

Last two pics have Naruto cards, FF7&8 soundtracks and some figures. I have more figures on the window sill behind the shelf but they aren't set up at the moment. Need to pose them properly.

3 copies I believe, both the DVD releases (I grabbed the 2nd for completion and one of my discs from the first release has a small crack on the inner side so incase it committed suicide), and also the US BD release :)

And don't worry, everything thinks I'm referencing Axel at first, I always get the same question everytime I start working somewhere etc :)
As I always tell them - I don't sing, and I'm not ginger :D
 
I only have one copy of Strike Witches, but it is over 6 individual discs
