Ok, screw being nice: this forum needs to force members to take an IQ test prior to joining. I'd prbably fail but, in the long run, I could rest easy knowing that AUKN had less moronic posts.

dont you guys like Majin Buu? i thought he was great. he lasted for ages and was really strong. he rightfully diserves to be named the best anime villain. In my oppinion.

Man your lucky im not gonna say something back.
But why are you complaining about my review? No one else is. So whats your problem? If you reviewed something i woudent complain. Yeah i admit my grammer isnt great, but by then end of the day who cares?

Series like that and me just don't get on very well, mainly because I'm an idiot with an awful memory.

I'm not agreeing that you're an idiot but I'm glad when people can say they don't like/love Eva without claiming it's because there's something deeply wrong with it.

A bit off-topic, but even being a DBZ fan, I wouldn't call Majin Buu a decent villain. He may be powerful and all, but apart from being psycho, there is no justification to his actions. He is a really shallow character.

Cell is much better, as in the start he was weak and had to trick and manipulate his enemies so that he could become stronger.

As for EVA, I agree with most of what has been said. That being that I enjoyed for the first 18 episodes or so, but after that it became to difficult to follow.

Me...Frieza personally

Didn't Cell getting blown in half count :p On the side of DBZ (heh going from Eva to DBZ how did that happen?) Frieza and Cell are tied with Janempa coming in second just for looking cool :p

I don't dislike him, it's just that besides being overpowered there is nothing to him.

I think cell is a much greater character / villain as he resourceful first and use it to get strong. Sephiroth is great becauase he is one of the best developer game villains of all time, IMHO.

Aion is also a great villain as well. Both the forum's and Chrono Crsade one ;D

I don't feel there's anything horribly amiss, but there's something wrong with a story when 90% of the people who watch it finish the series without a clear understanding of the events. The story lacked clarity and the required explanations. It also suffered from budget cuts towards the end, which resulted in End of Evangelion coming into existence after the series finished.

I'm pretty much the same as Jimmeh: I thought it was a great character driven series until towards the end, where it all became messy and difficult to follow. I can't remember the exact episode where I started to struggle to comprehend what was going on...not sure if it was around episode 18.

I'm sure it's more like 100%. I think that's part of the reason for its popularity though. If everything was explained clearly then people wouldn't have to think about (or discuss) it. It would be no different from any other mature series like Gits: SAC or Lain.

I think you're right on this point. If not for the different endings (series end and EoE) and the cryptic nature of the show, it would never spark so many discussions and rise interest around it.

It's not just that it's cryptic though. A lot of the mysteries do have answers in the series. They're not obvious though. You need to piece the clues together.
