100% sure? I ask because I picked up a Nadesico double volume set awhile back and the DVD's are labelled 'C' & 'D' instead of Vol. 3 & 4.

I'm 100% sure in terms of content but to set your mind at rest I'll check mine this evening if I remember to make sure the labels are the same. They might have labelled them Double Barrel Collection #whatever instead.

I've tested (fast forwarding all the way through, skipping all the way through and watching all extras) most of the DVD's. Aside from a minor scare when re-testing Vol. 7 of Heat Guy J (it seems my DVD player itself messed up), there haven't been any other faulty DVD's. I just need to check the remaining Saiyuki DVD's and the Ai Yori Aoshi ones...

So much for aion not caring what others think, if you don't care whats someone thinks you ignore them. You don't keep on reply to them and finally lose your temper with them and swear at them lol.

But anyway I can see he has got Banned status at the moment, if he got banned because of the swearing i don't care, unban him just stop him posting topic about his ebay wins which encourage people to buy second hand all the time.

All I've heard from you is an opinion. You are saying these things as fact, but you have not actually given evidence in any shape or form.

Which things do you disagree with me about then?

There are the three main points i am putting across and they are all FACT.

1.) There are cheap anime dvds out there
2.) Buying used anime does not bring nowhere near as much to industry as buying new
3.) Downloading instead of buying series on second hand dvd and using the money saved on buying new releases is better for the industry.

Just out of morbid curiousity, what do you recommend we do with this vast pile of brand new DVDs when we finish watching them. Should we all become hoarders? Fanatical collectors?

Ive no issue with collections but they need to be made up of things you like and are proud of owning. What happens to the rest?

Oh yes, they go where everything else you're finished with goes. The second hand market. If an industry, any industry, cant withstand this natural process then it doesnt deserve to.
