Oh nice! Yeah she's a real bitch! (let sleeping dogs die)! But she's good to look at so there's that haha!!

Jon Voight (sp) I believe his name is, kills it as Mick, hate Ray's kids though, Bridget is okay I guess but Conner is just no, his actor is very bad. Abbey is awesome too!

You watching this on Sky?

Sky Atlantic yeah. I agree that the kids are annoying, the girl needs to get slapped and the boy should get pushed down the stairs.

Ahh I see, I've been watching it with the Americans and they're one episode ahead, so I'll keep any spoilers down.

Yup they need to get less screen time, I'm not invested in their stories at all.

Finally saw the first episode of GoT the other day. The line between big budget television and softcore pornography is more blurred than I remember...
I had that exact same feeling when after weeks of being bugged by two of my brothers, I finally watched the first episode of Orange Is The New Black.

While watching the first episode, I did have to question whether it would just be more productive to watch lesbian porn xD. I'll probably need to watch another episode or two before I can make a final decision on whether to continue the series.

I think this is a positive development. It's about time sexual content was as prevalent as violence on our screens, after all it's not like it's somehow worse. I find it bizarre people can watch characters being savagely beaten, bloodied and killed without batting an eyelid but then it's somehow uncomfortable when they're forced to view genitals or sex acts. America has been particularly bad at this, it's good to see them beginning to ditch their irrational puritan hang-ups.

That is true and it's often a point I make when arguing in favour of video games like Senran Kagura - E3 is full of gory zombies and shooters and no one bats an eye, but when Senran Kagura acknowledges that women have boobies, everyone loses their minds.

Although I did feel a bit awkward when the episode shown a male officer unzipping his trousers and taking out some lotion before the camera panned to a still image of a plant on his desk as rather "porn-esque" music played xD.

I found Orange Is The New Black too inconsistent and by episode 7 it wasn't doing it for me and I dropped it. I was more invested in the character's outside the prison. But that cop with the tash was brill

Doctor Who.

Are people enjoying it? Never been a huge fan. Only ever seen eps since Eccleston onwards and with that in mind, the last 15 eps Matt Smith was in is the most I've ever seen. Until now. Capaldi will probably beat that watch count. I'm glad I haven't seen him in anything else so to me he can only be the Doctor, the way for so many Harry Potter fans, Daniel will always be Harry.

I also enjoy some E4 shows like Suburgatory, The Mindy Project and New Girl. Although I hate Zooey wityh a passion and New Girl would be better without her as the 3 main guys are HILARIOUS.

I've gotten back into Doctor Who after skipping the Matt Smith era, enjoying Capaldi so far. I have seen most of The Thick of It though, so can't help but see a lot of Malcolm Tucker in Capaldi's Doctor. :p

Well I just finished Banshee Season 2, the finale was very well done.

It resolved some loose ends (Rabbit arc has finally ended) while bringing up some more (Proctor arc and Chayton arc (introduced earlier in Season 2)).

Big events this episode though - the head of the Indian Casino Longshadow killed by Proctor's niece while Hood's police partner who recently retired got murdered with his wife by an unknown group (presumably part of Proctor).

Season 3 has been confirmed thankfully so no loose ends yet.

If they had to end it with Season 3 then I can see the show reaching a good conclusion, if they decide to continue towards Season 4 then I wonder how they could continue...

So, I watched the final ever episode of True Blood last night. Congrats, you did get a bunch of tears out of me and some giggles too. Eric and Pam are ace! <3

Overall it was a massive disappointment and something I feel a majority of the fans would not of been happy with. I feel we all wanted a different ending/life for Sookie. Saying that I haven't finished all the books yet, I think I have 2 or 3 to go.

The series was at it's best from 1-3 and it just went downhill. What a shame. I've still not seen the final episode of Dexter, I believe I'm 3 or 4 away from it but a lot of people said they can't decide whether Dexter or True Blood had the worst ending.

I'll agree the last Season of Dexter is poop. Potentially the one before it too but before then, it was a triumph. I really hope The Walking Dead doesn't follow the same end as True Blood and Dexter. Saying that, TWD has far better material to go off so I doubt it will :D

Me again. Doctor Who. Disappointed :(

They could of done SO much better with the episode as it started off brilliant.

I genuinely got creeped when Rupert and Clara were under the bed for it to then sink down with someone on top of it. I LOVED that part so much!

I genuinely didn't understand the end though with Clara and the Doctor and how there's apparently nothing there although when the blanket was removed, you could clearly effing see something! WHy didn't they go with the fact there was something there? SO confused :(

Agreed - it wasn't as good as I hoped.

The first half was genuinely really scary - and this series continues to do some very interesting things with Clara's character. But I still think the writing in this series has been a let down.

The Dalek ep is still my favourite of the bunch so far.

Yeah on the MCM expo group, a lot of people have been dissing Moffatt for the writing and script blaming him instead of Peter and Jenna for the lacklustre of the show so far.

I'm still gona keep watching though. This is the most into Doctor Who I've been so far, the Xmas Special will be intriguing for sure.

That's the issue though - Capaldi and Jenna have been brilliant. But the writing is really sucking pretty hard (Matt's last season had the same problem). I never thought I'd long for the T Davies days again, but right now, I really am. Think back to the show's peak, around series 3 and 4. It was like classic episode after classic episode.

Now you're lucky to get one really decent ep in a series. The last one that really sticks in my mind as a landmark show defining moment was The Girl Who Waited.

Re. this coming weekend's Doctor Who...

Baccano anyone...?
