UK Your Name was licensed by Anime Limited and got the standard Bluray and DVD release.. Along with the 4K release shortly after. (Although part of the release could have been in partnership with Madman?)

USA Your Name was licensed by Funimation/Crunchyroll and did not get a 4K release in the US

Weathering with you is a Gkids (ShoutFactory) release and has a 4K release in America

Just finished watching disc 1 of My Hero Academia Season 6 Part 2 blu ray and encountered a couple of issues on my copy.

Episode 129 - 1:11:00 ish - the disc has difficulty and skips about 25 seconds. It starts just before the ending song finishes, and resumes towards the end of the next episode preview. If I chapter skip beforehand to after the ending song it still has trouble. I could've sworn the range it skipped was a second or two different when I first saw it happen on Friday.

Episode 133 - 2:34:25 - an odd sound and abrupt cut to a black screen for about a second. Disc not skipping here but seems unusual - is it supposed to be like this?

Do other people's copies have the same issues or have I just been unlucky? I've had discs skip before but second hand with noticeable scratches on the disc. This is new and I can't spot any. Thankfully it didn't make me miss any of the episode, just the preview so it could be worse.

Had a look at my copy, and there is no skip in episode 129. You either have a dodgy disc, or a player incompatibility.

But episode 133 does have a car door slam followed by a black screen, so that does look like storytelling rather than error.

Thanks - checking again yeah it probably is meant to be a car door slamming and time passing in 133. I think I was a bit paranoid after the first issue being on the lookout for any others. It's not ideal but at least the skipping on 129 on my copy happened on the preview rather than anywhere else.
 
Nooooooooo the Witch from Mercury blu-ray steelbook set I ordered from CR arrived with one of the discs on loose and few scratches on it

Also holy sh*t this release is so bland, the art on the steelbook and on the main menu of the blu-ray is the same key visual art. God I hope AL is somehow able to license G-Witch and give it a proper Collector's Edition and Standard Edition release.

What a curveball announcement 😮

I still need to get S5 of Viz Media's release which I'll still get but I'll likely double-dip to support the release... unless it's an awful release.
 
I’ve purchased the series twice now from Madman and the Viz Media reissues so I’m content - good news for those who haven’t taken the plunge yet, though!
