Question

You know futureristic series and movies where technology is so advanced beyond our time well.

In the series you've watched which technology would you want.

It can be anything from ghost in the shell to from capsule corp (dbz) to gundam tech it can be anything

I'd like ghost in the shell tech cause of the tech they do for the body's. You could of lived 90 years and you could still have the the body of a 20 year old

A thoughtful question.

I would like the technology of Cowboy Bebop and GITS combined.

I would enjoy a believable looking spaceship like the bebop (IMO gundams being bipedal and expected to perform in space equal to that on a planet with equal or greater gravity field to earth is unbelievable) with space wide bounty hunting being perfectly suitable as a job but with the invisible capabilities of GITS and being able to control dummy bodies by remote to such a degree that they are believable.

I would be a cyber saviour bounty hunter from space. With an army of dummy bots to enforce my goals.

Interesting. I'm not sure. There are so many cool pieces of tech in shows but I'm not sure many have a practical application for me, personally. In fact, honestly I'm not sure there's any tech I can think of really from anime, specifically, that I'd want. I mean cyborg parts would be good if I got injured but I'm not sure I'd want them otherwise...

I think I know what you mean

I saw this anime call ad police and one of the ep was about a guy was completely cyborg only his brain and tounge was all that remained of him, but there was a problem he want to feel things again but all he had was his tounge and he would put it in pain to remind him he was alive but after so long it wasn't doing anything for him anymore and it was driving him crazy

Got to see Gorillaz new vid yesterday (thanks Faceburp.com) for "DoYaThing" on the converse site. Defiantly a treat compared to Gemma Ray sings Sparks single

Yes. And all the advice I can give is to either learn to be comfortable being alone, or if you're honestly a shut in and feel you want to go out and meet people but can't, get some professional help.

Good advise

I don't really get lonely, but I did feel a few nostalgic twinges when I realised that I had grown up and would never again go on family holidays with my siblings and parents the way we used to. Actually, I didn't like the holidays that much at the time, but knowing it would never happen again felt weird. It's the same when a relative dies, and you think about sending them a postcard when you're overseas, or visiting them, then remember that you can't. Time is always moving on.

My parents and my siblings (well, the older one) all spread out and we live separate lives now, but I moved on too, so that softens the transition. The relationship you have with your family changes but so long as you keep doing what you want to be doing, whatever it may be and in the spirit of Ayase's sensible words, you don't have to feel left behind.

I was talking to my brothers gf yesterday on face book saying what we were both doing and she said she was watching a DVD and it was a comedy and she asked me what I was doing and I said I was watch daPhne in the brilliant blue and she said she never heard of it and all I told her was it was a series from Japan, then I said it's a weird title isn't it and she said hahahaha yeah and then I told her after that I'l watch (another weird title) cowboy bepbop

She wasn't funny about what I was talking about or she wasn't making fun but it was nice to talk about your hobbys to people who don't know what anime is u know

I know this could be deemed just as useless information as my updates in the General convo thread but i felt the need to point out that, that was the most pointless post i've read today or indeed this week

Thank you for your time ^_____^
