My 9 item order came bubble wrapped and with air pillows as well. Very impressed with the packaging despite the long delay in getting it sent out.

Amazon on the other hand, apparently, can't afford decent packaging despite being one of the most profitable companies in the world. Every time I order from them I'm crossing my fingers hoping that the case doesn't get cracked, or the discs get knocked loose and scratched.

That was part of my observation; I did have several other deliveries with the “usual” box containing bubble wrapped bundles and air pillow packing. I only order CE/LE/UE/Steel titles (from AL), so such packaging seems basically sensible (I assume Amazon and the like are ok with a 50:50 or so chance of having to send replacements).
But finding such had been sent out in the more minimal protection was slightly concerning and disconcerting. I can’t really see the advantage in doing so when it’s not exactly going to fit any letterbox and it’s the same weight, unless boxes are expensive and in short supply!

The simple point being that even AL “edition” parcels have succumbed to the “packaging is getting crap all round” observation. Nowhere is completely safe!

I do have to wonder what becomes of the spoilt batch.

Also, the claim this was an issue with the masters...with all due respect, why wasn't this caught before printing? Realise I've been salty lately but did AL just take it on faith the masters were fine?
 
Is anybody else still waiting for orders from the Christmas sale? I get that it was a busy time but it has now been 2 months and last I heard the hope was everything would be sorted by this week.

It'd just be nice to have some kind of ETA at this point.

I haven't received mine and have about £1000+ of outstanding goodies. If there are some items out of stock, it would be great if they shipped what was on record and then shipped again once it was in stock. It's Feb 14th now, gonna have mine (if lucky) in time for the next sale.

Not very good press for them at this point.
