Technically the US release has been available since August of last year. Anime Ltd aren't using the same disc as GKIDS for their 4K release, so the holdback is probably the collector's packaging as per usual.
 
Wolf Children stock is all in with us now, so that should begin shipping shortly on our side - the additional retail delay is simply because of the additional turnaround time required for stock processing for other retailers.

In fact we have all sorts of initial samples dropping into our office currently, with full stock deliveries not far behind!

@Hanners What's the Perfect Blue situation now?
Looking at the law those of us that miss out are only due the money back and I guess an extra print run would diminish the exclusivity and thus would be out of the question, but I would hope for some compensation like a coupon?

I've been told as of today that stock is on its way back to us - I'm not taking that as gospel until we have it in a warehouse and checked in, but the process has been... well, processed, so we're waiting stock arrival to see what's what. We'll update when we can from there!

So as an update to the update, I've tentatively heard that our main warehouse is expecting plenty of units of this back - more than enough for our outstanding orders plus an opportunity for us to open up ordering again. (In other words, what we were supposed to have in the first place)

I stress tentatively - again, I'm still believing nothing until I can get hold of the stock and get it to where it needs to go, but the initial reports this afternoon are positive, and I'm continuing to push to keep the process moving as quickly as I can here. Very appreciative of the patience of everyone who has been stuck waiting for this one, I realise it's been a miserable experience!
