Bartender looks cool from what I've read. Looking forward to more info on that one.

Do you know if you will have more copies of Fireworks for Brum MCM please?

Also, Jeremy/Andrew, did all the Me!Me!Me! and Hosuda stuffs sell out this weekend at London? Break the bad news to me, do it! :( lol.

In my experience attending Fetch screenings, a lot of press outside of our circle expect animation to always be funny kiddy fair.

I went to a screening they did of Wrinkles, a Spanish animated film about dementia...super awkward

Hey all. Hope all is well.

Just wanted to touch base on a few things post MCM as I know a few of you have various questions about various things; hopefully this will tackle some of those until the entire team is back in the office and we’ve got our feet on the ground following MCM London:
  • Hosoda / ME!ME!ME! / KYOANI / EVA merchandise
I’ll be honest, I don’t know if any that was left over will be available to purchase from our site or not. Was very specific to the events themselves, but if we can make them available to order online we’ll make definitely it known.

  • March Comes in Like a Lion posters
The plan is for these to be shipped during November; waiting for them to arrive and then we can get that sorted. Haven’t got any more of an eta than that at the moment.

  • General stuff on our online shop
Am going to be doing a big update on a variety of things over the next few days, so you’ll probably see some things being updated and whatnot soon :)

Plan is to have shipping of orders resume from tomorrow.

Pre-Orders for titles that were available at MCM will be happening over the next few weeks; so don’t worry you’ll be able to order them soon :)

  • Other upcoming events
Members of the team will be at Hibanacon this coming weekend, and MCM Birmingham next week. Not sure on what will be available at each from us specifically, but I would say if we had something available early at MCM London then there’s a strong chance we may have stock of those as well.

Hope that helps answer a few questions. I’m going back to my desk now where I may resemble a human being of some kind for a few minutes. Talk to you soon~!

Oh boy I nearly fainted when I saw that price.

Still gonna get it though.

I look forward to seeing pictures of the set but that price makes me see golden butterflies!

I wonder if the soundtrack will ever be made available separately. I've never bought soundtracks as I always find they lose their luster when removed from their parent media (I only own 1 soundtrack: Halo ODST) but I know a lot of people will be after it.

It still makes me sad that there are no actual soundtrack vinyl in that vinyl set. I get the reasons why, but if there was ever a time to include one and not make it feel like an unnecessary novelty, it's in our current collectible music climate.

Hey all. Hope all is well.

I don't care who does it, we need Rakugo on BD. AL, MVM, anybody... it's a true shame we don't have it on BD outside Japan at all...

(And if possible, include the BD versions- like how Episode 12 is 2 minutes longer, and Episode 1 is 35 minutes longer.)

I only just now discovered that Episode 1 has a 5.1 audio mix in addition to the 35 minutes of new footage. That's it. We need Rakugo ASAP. (But, actually take your time, dear licensor- revise the translation and add in subs to the new footage. Your patience will be rewarded with sales from the 5 of us who want it.)

I second this notion.

On the Cowboy Bebop CE...

Sorry AL, but even if it's 50% off it ain't worth it.
1. No remastered discs. No mp3dom or Justin Sevakis encode means it's not a big upgrade
2. The Movie is the Manga UK disc, with lossy audio on a BD-25.
3. Big box which, while cool, probably takes up a lot of space
4. The OST. It's cool, but it probably adds into the price.

Sentai's Legend of the Galactic Heroes Collector's Edition was a better value... and that was $800!

I don't want to sound rude, but this probably won't sell well.

I mean FUNis is also poor so both 20th anniversary editions are poor as for me I would want for both prices the best releases in the world or near to that and neither are close.
