I got mine a few days ago got it discounted as I bought directly from Anime Ltd :) gonna be binge watching it this weekend


EDIT: The artwork book is fantastic and the poster is also great was hoping it was going to be the whole cast but was only of Renton :(

I just received Eureka Seven UE and this is the best UE yet. The BD artbox fits on my shelf, I can put the artbook with my artbook collection and there even is an unfolded A3 poster included! (I would never use a folded poster like the one with Your Name DE.)
I hope this will be the new standard for Ultimate Editions.

Even though I also received a shipping notification for Hyouka 30 minutes before Eureka 7, it wasn't included in the package and I haven't received it yet. AL, you could've saved on international shipping here. :p Maybe it will arrive tomorrow.
 
Eureka Seven UE arrived and I'm impressed. My only nitpick is that the BBFC sticker was a pain in the butt to remove :D

PSA: If you don't like the digipak spines, you can just flip them

They're doing a mystery box again, wonder if we'll prematurely find out what it contains like last time?

Also "extreme early-bird" sounds interesting.

On a side note This is around the time where I might be wishing I'd held off on some sets if they're heavily discounted. Ah well...

What titles are people hoping are in the sale?

Going to be honest, I would love to know the contents before picking it up (someone can tell me privately if needed be), and that's only because I have a fair amount of CEs already and there are some that I want but might not fit the Mystery Box criteria. 7 CEs in a box is insane.

You never know, MVM may f up fulfillment again by placing the mystery box fliers in the shipping package of an earlier deal.

These are my thoughts too, last year I ended up selling Aldnoah Zero and Gankutsuou and it paid for the box, but it can be a pain to do. I'll likely ask for it as a crimbo present, but 7 titles is indeed insane.
 
As interested as I am in the 12 Days of Christmas, I'm struggling to think what I would even buy on sale (which makes the fact that pre-orders are included pretty sweet tbh), I guess AssClass Season 2 Part 1 would be nice but I reckon it's a bit early for that...

Just visited their store and had a look, Claymore CE, Eden of the East CE, Noein (I'm sure I already bought this :/ ), Complete Space Dandy set (didn't like what they did with the Collectors so skipped them), so all in all there's a reasonable amount of things I'd buy if on sale, not to mention the pre-orders.

Probably skip the Mystery box tbh, it's a neat idea but I tend to buy shows I want anyway so can't imagine it being worth it for me (like you can sell the things you don't want, but eBay was flooded with them last time).

I did find it humorous to open my Samurai Flamenco set only to be presented with the flyer. It looked pretty cool with the little doodles of the AL staff. Was a nice touch

I waited for AL to put Noein in the sale last year only for Zavvi to have it for £20.99 so I got it from there. There's only a handful of AL titles I don't own so I'd be looking at Early Birds and possibly a bunduru or two

The flyer (an ad of sorts I presume?) is inside of a set? That to say, below the shrinkwrap? oo

Those 12 days containing even preorders sounds interesting. Wonder if Hyouka part 2 might be inside. I mean, given it's also about "Mystery".
 
That answers one question I had. It's 1 deal a day unlike the PSN 12 days which is each one being 2 days. I suppose with a physical item if they did that you wouldn't get some of the later ones till after Christmas. Puts the pressure on to decide.

It Came along with the set, as a packing slip would normally be placed.
