If you wish to make another purchase please see our latest offers and voucher codes here
Please note you may receive a system generated message informing you of the cancellation, please disregard this. We hope to see you shopping with us again soon.
Many thanks,
zavvi.com
But I had it for a good price :(

It's £28.99 on AnimeLimited's store if you wanted to order it from there: http://shop.alltheanime.com/products/pi ... rs-edition

AL's store does take payment when you place the order though.

I guess one reason why Zavvi took the listing down is there's no confirmed date for it to be released, Q1 2016 is the date AL have up.

That is very weird and I'm sorry to hear it!

Re the delays, they are due to unforeseen issues (the committee is pretty strict) so we're working on the packaging as we speak. Aways a fun packed affair...

Seen a few other people mention this but curious on specifics- those of us who pre-ordered the Origin III set AL were selling on behalf of Sunrise got something extra in the form of a film reel cut packaged in a separate envelope. It's 4 frames of animation (I got a Garma scene) and I can only find a single image of such on another site selling the LE, which depicts a Char scene. I can't find an actual product listing mention for this anywhere online so was it a pre-order freebie and what reel were they cut from?

Just curious to know the backstory behind these. I am insatiably curious :)

I'm at Sunnycon this weekend where among other things there is a screening of "Momotaro: Divine Sea Warriors" and an Anime Ltd. industry panel. Does anyone have any ideas for questions to ask the panel? If you want to PM me any questions feel free to do so.

By the way, I also got Gundam The Origin III (expect a review soon). I got 4 frames of animation too. Mine depicted Dozle.

I noticed Claymore is now up from pre-order on Base. Looking forward to seeing what they have done with it. Hopefully something similar to Baccano.

Just make a note, and more in case anyone was wondering, this isn't the same version of Momotaro: Devine Sea Warriors that we (Anime Ltd) have licensed.

Thanks for the note - can I ask what the differences between yours and the one being shown is?

The show must be digitally animated and the theatrical screenings were probably digital too, so that would be a reproduction. I have a film strip for Brave Story that was included with the limited edition Japanese DVDs.

I'm curious if they made a single replicated reel and cut that into 4 frame segments or printed off set scenes. So far I've heard or folks getting major characters though the cuts on mine are diagonal which suggests wherever these were cut there was a lot to do.

Music magpie have cancelled my Tokyo Ghoul Root A CE and refunded me as they say they've been let down by a supplier.

Ironically we're about to ship them stock to fix that so apologies if they've cancelled your order!

General question now - and perhaps me just being stupid and not noticing something earlier.

Is there going to be a standard blu-ray release of Empire of Corpses? I love the film but not enough to take the plunge on a collector's set and I'm likely to just wait it out for a standard if it won't be far behind the collector's release, certainly don't want to miss out if this will be the only option though! :)

Will have to wait on the refund before reordering anyway, so I will reorder from MM as they gave me a 10% off code as an apology. Not as good as the 20% off I had on the previous order though.

I contacted MusicMagpie and told them I'm more than willing to wait for them to receive stock rather than have a refund as even if I was to wait for them to get more stock then reorder, I ordered using a 20% discount code so the price will still be more even if I use the 10% code they provided me.

The response I got:

Hello,

Thanks for your email.

With regards to your query, when we show this item as in stock by all means order this and contact us with your new order number and we will apply the 20% discount to this new order.

However, we would ask that you do not use the 10% off code otherwise we will not be able to apply the 20% discount.

You can save the 10% off code for a later order if you wish.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Thought this could be useful as I'm the kinda person who's not fussed about how long it takes to get an item, as long as the price is good. I'm sure there are others like me in this regard.

There will be, just not lined the date up yet! Let me get back to folks shortly on that one :).

Best,

A few questions for Andrew/Jeremy if possible:

1) Samurai Flamenco part 2 - we've been waiting 6 months for this and no sign of it in Q3 so far. Any idea when we will get it? I'm hoping September at the latest, and even then, a 9 month gap HUUUGE (6 months is already pushing it imo :p )
2) Miss Hokusai Collectors Edition BD - Still on for July?
3) Brothers Conflict and Riddle - Will these be Anime Limited branded releases or just copies of the funimation release? Thanks.
