Wow, absolutely nothing for me once again. This has been a lackluster year in terms of licenses for me. I don't think AL's Christmas Showcase 2024 will have anything for me either. This year sucks so much.

Andrew was talking about the master film they got for it. It was one from the time when you had to type the subs into the film, and no one knows where it came from because the BFI said it wasn't there's.Blood+ is a big surprise, definitely will be getting that along with Blood: The Last Vampire, Eizouken and InuYasha S3 + S4.
Interested to see how AL's Akira release will be like, see if it's worth double-dipping or not.
I feel the same way, after all Akira was the first title released by Island World Video which later became Manga Entertainment and Manga held the rights for so long, it’s kind of sad to see. Hopefully AL gives it the deluxe treatment or I won’t be double dipping.I feel that Manga UK is truly dead now with Anime Ltd's acquisition of AKIRA.
The digimon 02 film was screened earlier today at the centre stage so would not be surprised if that got s physical release eventually.Nothing about a home video release for the Digimon 02 film or the Slam Dunk film is disappointing.
Hopefully there'll be something in the coming weeks.
Wow so guessing they've finally cracked the Sentai egg
Very happy about Blood+, was kind of expected after AL France got it but Akira is the crazy one... its literally already had a 4K AND cinema release in the last few years.
I think the HDR was botched but who is double (or in my case Octruple) dipping?!
Great get but seems kinda pointless.
Perhaps worth noting that the original Manga UK blu-ray is still fairly easy to find used copies of for under £20 or so from eBay and CEX (£12 plus postage from the latter). That said, it's a fairly old release (2009!) so a newer one by AL may well be better in the video quality department.I'll probably grab the Blu-ray, but likely not at its initial price, considering it's only 35 minutes long.
