I presume it's because they're the English language rightsholders, but I would have preferred it if AL matched the design and contents of the Italian MSG release rather than the Right Stuf release. The books with each volume would have been great, as would have the interviews on Vol. 1 (though I would have preferred the 30th anniversary doc).

Am aware of it, pitched it and was rejected on grounds of wanting as much consistency as possible. Had to fight my way to what folks are getting and we'll have a nice treat with box two for folks too :).

Thanks for the response, Andrew! I look forward to seeing what you've cooked up for the second set.

Harmony Gold will never die - they're like Sauron in the Lord of the Rings, they just keep coming back again and again. More's the shame...

If we're talking LotR then HG would surely be Gollum, what with them hording their preciousssssss. :D

Seriously, HG, just do everyone a favour and die already FFS.

That would make Macross a tool of evil that ultimately only spreads corruption, I'm not sure that sounds right.

It might work better if Harmony Gold was the ring. That'd also mean that destroying them would free the land from a terrible evil. I'm sure some people would like the idea of casting Harmony Gold into the fire.

Some people....? :D

Although you could probably swap out Macross for Robotech in that quote above and it might be closer to the truth!

I guess so.

If Harmony Gold is the ring though, then Robotech is maybe it's evil influence/power that makes people think they want Harmony Gold and what it offers when in reality they're just serving evil and only end up losing out on the true wonders of the world (which would be Macross, I guess).

Maybe that's kind of harsh on Robotech since it makes it sound bad and it does have it's fans but then invisibility is pretty cool too, it's just the side effects that are the problem.

Comet Lucifer has been picked up by Anime Limited - I am glad they did. Looks like a really fun show from what I saw in the first episode.

Interestingly enough it's the only title that's not available to us on Crunchyroll. Perhaps Anime Limited should try and contact Crunchyroll to make it available, getting the shows out there across multiple services is better than one place in my opinion.

Agreed - especially given Viewsters new 'no HD streaming without an expensively shipped box of stuff' service, I really want to be able to watch this WITHOUT adverts.

Do you have an Xbox 360? If so, you can wait it on there without adverts :)

Comet Lucifer is available in Portugal on Crunchyroll. CR on 360 has adverts too if that's what you are talking about. I remember getting them this year before I bought the sub. :)

Ok, I wasnt really sure which one you were talking about when I've read it to be honest but I've decided to reply anyway  I'm gonna go back to my corner

When are ATA planning to release Aldonah Zero considering it is now on Netflix?

I imagine some time in 2016, and probably dependent on the US release too.

Funnily enough it's already come out in Germany via Kaze.

They'll have to wait until at least January 2016. Aniplex's second volume is due for November and usually everyone else has to wait at least a month or two.

Oh so the US and Germany have most of it

No idea on Germany, but Aniplex USA has released the first 6 episodes of season 1 in July and are releasing the last 6 this month as for season 2 my guess is early next year.
