UK Anime Distributor Anime Limited Discussion Thread

Nothing to add from MCM Glasgow. I poked in regards to the lack of Broadcast Dubs and it's smoething they're lookin' into.

Which they should cuz that's the last bastion upon which Pirates have a foot.

I noticed that SAO II is a "Collector Edition" and not a "Collector's Edition" which is weird since all other AL CE releases are Collector's Editions.

Btw, is there a way to request or make wishlists for animes that haven't been released? Anime Ltd. is my favourite european anime distributor and seeing them release some of my favourites like Eureka Seven or the upcoming One-Punch Man anime would be awesome. (I don't know if Manga UK also has the Blu-ray rights for Eureka Seven)

They can't have One-Punch Man, Viz Media Europe, and therefore the French company that Andrew will not name (Kazé), has them. I guess we better hope Viz Media US don't screw it up.

That is true but *technically* shouldn't Viz Media Europe & those who shall not be named have the rights to the K movie & second season?

I don't think it was ever confirmed Viz had European rights for K the movie and K2. Bear in mind Viz Media and Viz Media Europe are apparently separate companies as One-Punch Man was specifically acquired by a group comprising of Anime Consortium Japan, Viz Media and Viz Media Europe.

Suppose one can hope :) I imagine it's the sort of show FUNi will be all over so may be sublicense able :p

Why would Viz Media buy One-Punch Man only to sub-licence it to either FUNi or AL? Sorry to **** on your dreams, but I'd be very very surprised if this isn't a Kazé shitfest.
