    Hardest manga to read

Definitely agree with you guys on Man Machine Interface. I love the movies and series, but after reading the first issue and a bit of the second ... I'm used to technobabble being a massive Sci-fi fan, but most technobabble is relatable in some way; in MMI most of it seems to be stuff Shirow has...

    The HMV Thread

Same as the other guys who've commented here, I'm not worried. Any time I look at anime, or any other DVD for that matter, in HMV I walk away and buy it online for a lot cheaper, often from their own online store. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've bought more anime VHSs in HMV than anime DVDs. In...

MCM Expo Anime Panel Spring 2011 Discussion thread

*does a little dance* Didn't think this would ever be licensed in the UK. Definite buy for me! Nice to see we're getting some josei. As for FMA: Brotherhood, I'm waiting for sets rather than fork out for the singles for this series (well, I do the same for pretty much everything as sets are...

UK Anime Blu-ray & DVD Bargains

I have no problem with depressing endings as long as they are well done :D I loved Lain, and Haibane is one of my all time favourites (the book that largely inspired it is also a fave of mine). Fingers crossed I like this. I think I'm a bit antsy about this kind of show at the moment as I...

    EDITED ANIMES DRVIE ME IN-*******-SAIN

Okay, poor grammar, spelling and so forth have me confused. Are all episodes are accounted for, if you missed one by skipping forward? Is the 25 episode count on the back of the case a misprint then?

    Spring 2011

I was tempted by Hyouge Mono until I noticed Bee Train was doing the animation >_< That's an instant turn-off. Other than that ... Maybe Deadman Wonderland could be good? Was planning to buy the manga, but never got around to it. And I'll maybe try Showa Monogatari and Moshidora, as well as...

Why Dragonball is not very popullar in UK?

Why would you assume that? I've been watching anime for about 14 years now and have never liked any form of Dragonball (tried watching it 10 years ago but it's not my kind of thing). Not all anime fans are fans of shounen shows.
