I bought part 1 of xam'd blu based on gut feeling that it will sell ok. Actually my gut feeling is that the blu is gonna do better than the dvd.
I am usually right
The Australian madman girl who leapt tghrogh time bluray does have extras. They just included an extra dvd with the bluray as part of the set to avoid the restrictions.
There is no reason why Manga couldn't do the same as Madman. Prob were just being lazy and saving themselves blank dvds.
I don't mind the Ghibli artwork staying the same. Better than the Japanese bluray artwork. That is too abstract for the uk market anyway.
Agree about dropping the numbers though.
Was half expecting the fullmetal alchemist blurays to get dropped. £10 more than the dvds for what is basically an upscale from what the bluray reviews say.
I like the option to have both dvd/bluray. We only have 2 ps3s around the house and sometimes i can't watch the films on them without the hassle of dragging someone else off them.
I tend to lend to other people and most don't have bluray.
The whole point of having these combo packs is to...
I still need to watch it. I hope 4digital asia don't keep dragging their **** with the sequels. I am not watching the first one until the sequels are out
Avatar 3d- 8.5/10
Good film, the 3d was fantastic. The story cliched and too long but still entertaining!
District 9- 6/10
I was expecting a fantastic sci fi film. What I got was a slightly above average sci fi. Too many plotholes and a bad script. Was entertaining and well paced though.
I have bought a lot of dvds from cdwow that have been 100% genuine although in this case certainly not.
I think if they knew they were fake they wouldn't have shown them. So they should be aware now and cancel that particular supplier of fake dvds.
