I did actually start some monthly donations to groups that are doing human rights campaigning/advocacy work this month, am still considering doing a Secret Santa donation for Action For Children as well (only reason I haven't is my own financial situation, I would really like to put a present under a poor child's tree), I was already donating some money to Action Aid but wanted to do more and felt that was the best way to do it as my mentally unwell and AuDHD brain can't really consistently handle all those petitions and surveys on next steps and emailing my MP about things half so well as I wish it could, but my finances can handle donating an extra £25 or so a month atm. Good on you for the hospice thing, when I get to that point in my life I'll no doubt be grateful for the kindness of people such as yourself :)

(We've also had Diebuster Collector's Edition stock arrive, but as we want to do some final checks to make sure everything is okay we're making the decision to hold shipping that until January and concentrate on the Christmas sale orders beyond the aforementioned Cyberpunk shipments)

Approximately 96.69% of AL's stock was thieved by the villainous Amazon and their co-conspirators. Last update was they'd try reacquire said stock. It's still sold out. We're one-ish week out from last post.

Since iirc it wasn't inc in early bird redux, you're prob better off canceling/reordering from AOL. It's priced around the same as the early birdy. Or, failing that... Amazon? 🤯

Speaking of delays, I just received the following email from ATA:

We hope this message finds you well.

Nein, and I got in swiftly; first day. Didn't see any of the 4 Bleach vols go out of stock during the sale, either. My ETA remains Feb 2026/7 atm.
Will post if they ship as likely means go time for most others.

Question: did AL not switch to a third-party middleman to handle shipping, rather than doing it in-house, to avoid this exact backlogged scenario after the Eva ⬛ saga? Or am I misremembering/did that change? 🤔

Mercifully, Naruto Shitpuddin's delay doesn't impact meeee: quit the anime after 10-14eps aghast at 0.5-1ch pacing, back during mein Narutarded days (on NarutoFan, no less). And the AL release not CE individual vols like OG series/a generic looking box, which I'm guessing is more a C&P import.

Tbh though, one could argue I'm not fully cured of Narutardation as still purchased original anew... and finished the story via the Naruto Storm games.......and watched the Boruto movie.........and own the very green - and fittingly dented - vol 1-27 box set. But mostly. Maybe?

Wasn't trying to steal Hanners ⚡/NTR: seems unlikely they'll restock in time given logistics, and wanted you to get a copy if a rush. I'll leave you sort it out with him. I wish you good fortune in the battlesto come~
AoL stock depleted since posted link, anyway.

Had I not looked at AUKN, I'd still be eagerly expecting Diebuster, any day now. Least HWR got an email re Naruto.

Now just to wait and see is my day one BOGOF purchase gets dispatched before or after Christmas.

My friend still waiting for his copy to be sent, although that's stuck in xmas backlog vs preorder lottery.

Mr Wolf's Rain, many of us have been through this cycle before, many times. And that was when the company wasn't quite so corporate/soulless. It's like a long term relationship: one grows weary of of the other over time, and more resentful as lessons are not learned.

Without AL, I'd be able to sell anime at extortionate prices, also. For every gain in this life, there is a loss. Did Fullmetal Alchemist teach you nothing with equivalent exchange? 'Tis insighful, I strongly recommend that you go watch it for Anime Limited context before posting again.

You claim they're "coporate/soulless" yet talk like they aren't comprised of humans and shouldn't be given grace, especially during stressful seasons like the holidays. If they were as you accuse, they wouldn't even bother entertaining places like this but Hanners is quite active to keep people informed. It was revealed that the company went through a hard time before the sale with multiple individuals falling ill thus interrupting services. If you aren't able to extend goodwill in such a situation then I'd argue you're a hypocrite that is far more corporate/soulless.
