Got a Switch 2 preordered with Mario Kart World

Recieving both versions of the Sonic 3 steelbooks recently reminded me that there is a second recent steelbook release of The Super Mario Bros. Movie that I'd been meaning to buy so I've ordered that from HMV.

I also double-dipped on both Detective Pikachu steelbooks back when that movie released so I'm keeping up with all the steelbooks for my favourite video game movie series.

You're joking but this legit happened to me when I went to Japan. I had to buy a 10kg suitcase and it was just filled with figurines because they wouldn't fit in my main suitcase. I found so many I wanted, I couldn't say no when I was in Akihabara. No self control whatsoever

I don't get to akihabara for two weeks. I DO have to buy a suitcase anyway, as the last leg of my trip was carry-on only (or an extra £75 for hold luggage space). Don Quixote has these cute little Ghibli crystal lego-like figures for Y2200. I now have Jiji. Stock is limited but I'll try to add a pic later

As a mild sock enthusiast and major fashion girly, I wish I could have the Hokusai wave ones (and the pink ones, if they're big enough for my feets, though they look as though they might be in smaller sizes?) XP

Yesterday I bought this lolita dress off Ali Express, guess we'll see how well it fits compared with the description when it arrives

Thankyou so much! But tbh I just dress up a lot to go food shopping and on walks in my city and whatnot haha XD I wave at the sightseeing bus a lot too since I'm always dressed up and wearing a witch's hat so I figure I make for a decent "quirky local" XP

As a male with ridiculously oversized feet, I can confirm they are stretchy enough to fit almost anyone. My main problem was getting the toes into their little foot-gloves.

My "big" buys so far. The pepper mill is about 10cm tall (perfect for travel). Not sure why the godzilla is rated 15+. Picked up two of them. Jiji and other figures are on Ebay (search Beverly crystal puzzle ghibli), but of course they're cheaper in Japan (te back states for sale in Japan only). Just need to hunt down the others.

Picked up blue Totoro today for Y2200 and will prob go back for Catbus at Y3500 later. Prices and stock changes markedly from store to store, which makes the shopping more fun. Move on from Osaka to Okayama tomorrow. No sign of Easter here.

Nothing against From Up on Poppy Hill, Whisper of the Heart, Only Yesterday, Porco Rosso, or Ocean Waves, all great romance stories from Ghibli too!
