That site gave me flashbacks to the countless amount of time I spent trawling through Anipike for character shrines and fanfic sites in the Web 1.0 days.

I've seen about the first 20-30 episodes and I thought it was neat if very 80s, I am planning to finish it someday (I'm 35 btw so really a 90s kid didn't especially grow up with it though ofc I knew what it was as a child)

I'm not that much older but I definitely remember watching Thundercats and enjoying it, which got me wondering when it aired here. I was guessing we got it a lot later than the US, as we used to with everything (I distinctly remember the mid '90s when it seemed like everyone at school but me had Sky and was watching things about a year before I saw them, I know that feel, Rishi) and apparently it did start airing in the UK in '87 but then there was another glut of episodes in '90, which is probably when I saw it. Also 65 episodes never even aired here. Probably I should re-watch the whole thing at some point, I remember it having an atmosphere quite unlike any other cartoon. At least child me certainly thought so.

I opened my news app today to be faced with at least half a dozen headlines that ended in "here's why" and one article about the correct way to sit on the toilet (and it wasn't satire). I want to go back so very badly.

My AliExpress order arrived, the bloomers are really cute and comfortable and fit me well, the dress is great and I can wear it - it looks really good cinched at the waist with a blue belt I luckily already had, but it would benefit from some tailoring for a better fit as the elastication for under the bust sits too high on mine, I still love it though and I will either adjust it myself or pay to have it done by a tailor in my city I also now have a complete set of the manga Daytime Shooting Star by Mika Yamamori Volumes 1-12 (there is a bonus side story volume 13 but it hasn't been published in English)

My Holbein acrylics arrived a few days ago, there was a mix-up where the first set they sent out got delivered to the wrong address due to an error on the part of the delivery driver (DPD was the courier), but they sent out a replacement free of charge, I am very glad to have them I'm just sad I've been too busy packing for visiting my mum to actually have used them yet! Various Temu items from my last order with them arrived, the shoe rack I think I posted about in the What did you BUY today? thread has also arrived but as I haven't assembled it yet (my PA's been away on holiday and was again busy with trip prep) IDK if it's good. The tops I got are lovely and they fit well and comfortably, the shoes are amazing, as nice as the picture, really great fit and very very comfy (being diabetic it's too much of a risk to wear shoes that will hurt my feet as I'm wearing them in), I also really like the Kuromi hairbrush, though time will tell if it's a worthy replacement for my red and black Denman one. I will likely end up talking about the quality of the acrylic paint when I try it in one thread or another on this forum but yeah can't currently comment, Holbein are a very well-regarded brand though so I'm confident it will be rather spiffing
