What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

Sorry to interrupt the CCS flow but this came in for me today. I was gutted that I missed out the first time round so when they announced they were releasing them again I was like hell yeah this time it's mine.
Now I just wish they would do a regular complete series for DBZ too...

Hopefully mine should be arriving tomorrow, was gutted I missed out on it first time round as well, hadn't realized it went OOP when I went to buy it, thankfully this was announced a few months later. Really hoping DBZ does get one as well as the sets out atm look great and DB is my favourite anime but it's a lot of money for 9 individual parts. Seeing as the movies got a complete set as well (which I still need to get myself), I'd hope so but this is the new Crunchyroll UK so I feel we'll only get one if the U.S. does.

Cardcaptor Sakura has arrived and it is a pretty nice release. Shame the booklet is barebones but the point here is to have a better looking disc which this set delivers on. You can view more photos & specs on my blog.

Also arrived today is How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom light novel 6 & 12, which were out of stock for months so now I'm almost up-to-speed with the series.

Ah man, I can't wait for the Realist Hero Blu-ray release, but that's still another 2 months out. And then I have to wait for the Season 2 Blu-ray to come out next year sometime. :(

Seven Seas must have messed up with the reprint on Vol 6. I actually double checked my own copies on my bookshelf and there wasn't any height difference between vol 6 and the other volumes.

The height difference, the misaligned logos, and misaligned volume number would bother me, to be honest.

Edit: In case you're unaware by the way, Realist Hero also has a bunch of bonus short stories as part of JNC's exclusive digital editions. If you ever feel the desire to double dip for digital, you should get straight from them rather than any of the other platforms.

First Dragon Ball blu-ray / DVD I've bought in a long time, has taken me so long to properly collect for the series despite it being my favourite.

Dragon Ball Super (BD)

This also takes the crown for the chonkiest blu-ray I own. I quite like the back art as well with all the villains of each saga.

So while I am waiting for my replacement Princess Principal UK CE to arrive from AOL, I received this today from a seller here in the States. This one was extremely well-packaged, so it arrived pristine, despite it's sheer hugeness - Sentai's Premium Boxset is twice the width of the UK Collector's Edition!:

That's annoying. Its a very nice looking box
Yeah it was disapointing to see. I emailed Zavvi but I dunno how good they usually are at honoring stuff like that, I also sent them a picture of the damage. I will see if they deem it enough I guess

My experince is they are fine for returns due to damage (although not sure how they do it once it unsealed but I would think its still good if it still in the returns time they alot (14 days??)). Just send pics at the start (which it sounds like you've done) to make the process quicker (the more email reply the more customer service people get in on the action and the more confused they seem to become)

Although the last time I returned some damaged steelbooks, I request replacement and they just ignored that. and buy the time they processed it and sent me a refund they raised/changed the price.
Did manage to get some store credit to what price it was but only for the one steelbook and had to pay postage again. But couldn't be bothered to carry on the conversation/complain any more.
