Quite a bit heh, though didn't you need to get that much anyway to finish the event and nab Hokusai? I had a brilliant lvl100 Ishtar archer support with the right event-related attack boosting CEs equipped that I used to demolish one of the lv90 casino quests with only saber enemies heh. Still a grind but oddly satisfying and, now I'm finding, also incredibly useful for stocking up on QP.

I remember needing at least 200 million QP, so maybe it was higher than I thought.

You're exactly right and I realised that too late into levelling up her skills heh. As you'd advised, I've done the strengthening quests for her and Emiya so that has definitely helped with two of the strongest in my roster.

Worth checking but all of them? Since Emiya had a few, 3 in total I believe.

I may follow your strategy for materials and just stick to event shops instead of wasting my time and ap on poor returns farming, seeing as they're better put to actually progress the story so I can participate in more events.

Any you need desperately it might be worth some AP farming but in general yeah, less wasted time if you've got the patience.

Gosh, I had not realised that you needed coins for grailing past 100 as well! Bloody gacha game... Well that's good to know, so thank you for the heads up. I'll hold on to those coins rather than use them for skills... I'd started using some for Saber but I didn't plan on grailing her, yet, so not an issue.

Yep. The coin stuff sucks for any you want to put extra effort in to getting. Getting an extra skill is easy given time, I've played long enough that I have the dups for standard servants that I never will take past their level caps, but it's difficult for those you want to invest it. Especially as there is no way to get the currency beyond dups.
Any you've got, hold and make the decision that will suit your use of that servant best. No point using them for skills that provide little benefit, and limited point in using them to break the level cap a lot if you aren't planning to fully commit to reaching 120.

Heh I know what you mean, and I feel like that way about a lot of the Fate/Stay Night characters (though I suspect most have been 3*ed to show up Saber's recurrently mentioned superiority in the anime...). Cu is especially one I'd want to grail, given his relative invincibility. But, think I'll hold on to those grails for now, until I've decided who my favourites are, as you did with your Okitas.

Yep. Nothing wrong with no using grails for ages too. I think I went 2 years before finally grailing Okita (Saber), and that was when I also had a massive stockpile of grails so I wouldn't be too worried about "wasting" them. It's always worth using a servant a bit, experiencing the stories linked to them, and deciding how much you like them beyond the current day to know whether grailing them is worth it in my opinion.

This is the part where I tell you I have been playing since year 1 and can't bring myself to using a grail lol. I got a lot stocked up as a result at least. I'm thinking I'll give Abi one though.

Some may call it a waste of a grail but I say, Abi get's the grail.

That's some impressive resistance dude! That would so have been what I did a while back, but in my old age I've become increasingly impatient so quite happily used a couple on Hokusai as she ticked both the likeable character and useful skills/attack-power boxes for me heh. The game will naturally hold me back from temptation to use any more though, which would be useful to have the time to pick up more characters and be sure of which favourites to take past 90. The need for coins is definitely annoying to find out about, but hopefully bond levels will be enough.

Despite not having used your grails, you have a great roster in your support group, nice one. That super Orion is brilliant as well, hits like truck-kun even before being fully levelled. Was another one I would've been very happy with in that lucky bag banner heh.

Oh yeah super Orion definitely a nutter and yes I use your Achilles regularly for almost every rider-related task! He's my favourite of the supports after Ishtar and another one I would very much like to land. I actually haven't used Sitonai much, and an reminded to try her with Castoria. I do use Lancelot every so often, but if anything Sabers are one category I don't have shortages in heheh, so like trying out different ones - my personal favourite is Altria alter (in fact due to them all sharing the same name, that's the one I thought I was pulling earlier on in that free 5* campaign!!) - she is one I would definitely grail to a 100 if I got!

I didn't realise you could specify different supports for events, that explains some inconsistencies I noticed heh.

Heh in my impatience these days, I rarely employ my long-lost attention to detail so only just noticed this fact heh. It is very useful on review, so you can have useful event-specific craft essences equipped only for events, without messing up the usual roster. I kept scratching my head when trying to use a support Merlin I regularly use from another player, only to find him consistently missing in for quests only, which I now realize were event-specific ones heh.

I would focus on enjoying the pseudo singularities myself, they are great stories (the only dud is Agartha) but that is up to you ultimately. If it was me I wouldn't rush for any event, there will come a point where you will burn out on them and probably want to willingly skip some events anyway.

Good advice, I shall get back into my stride of enjoying the main story whilst taking breaks to participate in the events that I can access.

Summer Abby has joined her normal self in being called through a ticket. I am pleased to have this little abomination in both forms. I've added her to my event support, her damage output is pretty decent.

It's probably no secret that Abby is one of my favorite servants, also is anyone else familiar with the Dunwich Horror which the Salem singularity is loosley based on? Because she is hard to talk about without spoiling more than one intelectual property lol

Definitely better to enjoy the singularities as you go, especially as missing some may then make you wonder about stuff that they touched on, or stuff they outright reveal or hint at that then get built upon.

Luckily most events don't require large amounts of story content to be cleared, but some do specifically because those events are not so much events but story content contained as an event.

Good stuff, and yes I've decided to chill on the events and take my time enjoying the pseudo-singularities. The Shinjuku one is pretty damned funny with the two Alters bickering - I already wanted Altria Alter from the get go thanks to Heaven's Feel, but I now want the "ice b**tch Queen" even more and the corresponding and very funny Jeanne Alter. This one would definitely be good for an anime adaptation from what I've played so far. It's also funny how you see much lighter sides of characters like Altria Alter and Hassan of the Cursed Arm in FGO, compared to their very dark and brilliant portrayals in Heaven's Feel. By the way, was Dantes introduced in an event in the first year? His presence is very much as a known character in Solomon and Shinjuku despite not being formally introduced in the main story thus far.

Duuuude, you have some brilliant luck summoning through tickets! The best I've gotten through tickets have been 3* CEs.... Happy for you getting both versions of your favourite character - she's pretty funny in the current event so I look forward to her story in the main game. That reminds me, I want to get the foreigner Hokusai version myself to add to the summer saber, but happy to borrow others' as support for now heh. Despite the temptation to roll in all these summoning gachas, I'm going to start hoarding SQ now to try and get Scáthach later in the year seeing as I wasn't looking the odds in the recent lucky bag. Though I've definitely gotten a fair lancer roster added to Cu since, with the current Yu Mei-ren welfare (also very funny in the event) and having levelled up Valkyrie (3* attack with 5* hp - love the 3 characters-in-one aspect and associated artworks, but utility-wise they're a very confused character, with the low attack hampering a great skillset, and I really hope they get levelled up or are given some rank up/interlude quests in the future).

Oh dear, I can feel a bout of FOMO coming along.... Ah well, que Sera Sera....buuuuut I'll see if I have the resistance to hold back on the summoning to save some for new year too. It's pretty blimming addictive. I was just saying I'll be saving up, but couldn't resist trying my luck just now at using some tickets after seeing your draws heh. After that complaining, I actually pulled a 4* (Bryhnhildr berserker: meh to maybe interesting?) and the event 4* CE, so not bad going at all with what 7 tickets or so.
