I loved her performance as Sophie in Tales of Graces too!

Akame ga Kill 12

Still great fun.

Jormungand Perfect Order 2-4

Lent my copy to a friend so my rewatch got delayed. Still my favourite anime of 2012.

Gargantia 1-4

Starting my rewatch on BD. Looks gorgeous in 1080p so far and the dub is very good.
Between Ritsu, Taiga, and Amy, Cassandra Lee Morris has quickly became my favourite dub actor. I'm looking forward to hearing her Patema more than I'm looking forward to watching the film!

The Blu-ray is a great transfer of a beautiful looking show. The colours, the lighting, the skies, the detail on the ships... dem rosy gurl cheeks <3

Definitely one of the best English female voice actresses - up there with Monica Rial and Mela Lee in terms of my favourites.

I've been putting these shows off for the last week so I watched:

Free! Eternal Summer - Episodes 11 - 13
Space Dandy 2 - Episode 13 (Dub)
Zankyou no Terror - Episode 10
Tokyo Ghoul - Episode 12

Free! had a really nice satisfying ending. Sad to see the show go. Whilst I liked the episode of Tokyo Ghoul as a whole, that's not the ideal way to end it. If it's getting a second season then fine, but if not it'll be Deadman Wonderland again.
The final thing on my weekly watch list is Akame, then I'm hoping to speed through Nozaki-kun since I've only watched 3 episodes so far. I've heard and seen nothing but good things about it, and I need me some more delicious Miyuki Sawashiro voice.

Blue Gender - Episode 11

Ghost in the Shell Arise - Border 4 [Final]

I thought that was a pretty good final episode, maybe a little too familiar but I definitely need to watch the series back to back a some point to get a better feel for Arise as a series.

What's your initial opinion on ARISE as a whole? I loved SAC, but Borders 1 & 2 didn't really do all that much for me. They were a bit disappointing.
I've had Border 3 on my shelf since it came out months ago, but I keep putting it off as I just don't feel in a rush to watch it after the first two. Amazon shipped the 4th OVA to me today so I might just watch them back to back.

I agree Borders 1 & 2 were a bit weak but it got better and I thought it ended on a high. As a series it was maybe a touch too generic and a little over complicated for 4 one hour episodes but I did enjoy watching every episode and overall I thought it was OK, I just think it should have showed a more about the cybernisation of society than it did seeing as it was a prequel. Certainly nowhere near as good as SAC which I loved as well.

Terra Formars: OVA (Japanese Dub) - Episode 01

Well this was indeed rushed.

The pacing is too fast, they skipped quite a lot of dialogue and scenes and why couldn't they put this arc in the TV version instead? Ga-Rei: Zero had the guts to do something like this (despite being an original anime that's set before the manga).

The only positive points I can make are the explanation for each character (though it's not as detailed as the manga), the death scenes were accurate (uncensored as well) and the voice acting is good.

This should have been at least the first 3 episodes in the TV version instead of 2 22 minute OVA episodes.

Wow, they outright forgot to animate some of the lip flaps in once scene.

That was funny. Not sure how they forgot to animate the mouth movement. Hopefully they will fix it for the home release.

Toradora eps 15 - 18

My God, this series is just absolutely breaking my heart with every single episode. The English dub is stunning, but just on the whole, I've never seen a series do all the pangs and heartaches of teenage life this honestly and in such a down-to-earth manner. Obviously the comedy and banter between Taiga and Takazu is brilliant, and the glue at the heart of the show, but the stuff with Minorin and Ami is what really keeps me coming back every time. Their characters are so complex, so intricately unveiled episode by episode until we get to the heart of who they are as people, it's stunning.

Blood Lad episode 1

Hmm...visually incredible, but I'll probably need to give it another episode or two before I make a final decision on the series.

Felt very much the same on all points.

Hoping the series isn't so rushed but I'm sorta expecting a beautiful 80's anime style train wreck so I doubt it can disappoint....
