Baby Steps 25

Surprised and delighted to see this get another season. It's absolutely brilliant and watching Ei-chan develop throughout has been a joy.

Attack On Titan: Episodes 6-14 (The hype is real)

If your wondering I watched episodes 1-5 when part 1 first came out but I decided to hold off watching anymore until I had both parts.

I held off watching it until part 2 came out as well.

Hokuto no Ken II ep16-17

Captain Earth - Episode 25 [Final]

That was an OK ending, not as epic or dramatic as I expected it to be, pretty much like the rest of the series IMHO, good but not a classic!

Mobile Suit Gundam-san - Episodes 11 & 12

It was worth the wait that's all I will say too you.

Attack On Titan: Episodes 15-25

Aldnoah.Zero Episode 12: I think my heart just broke. What an amazing last episode, I can't wait for the next part. I like how a number of questions were raised including how did Slaine's Aldnoah Drive power up?

The animation for the scene where Asseylum was shot and Slaine proceeded to shoot at Saazbaum was amazing, I felt the emotion so much

As for the death of Inaho. I really had just started to warm to him a little in the last 3 episodes. The way he'd been fighting up until now I don't think any of us saw him being taken down like that. The part with all his memories of the Princess had me tearing up. I don't hate Slaine, he has been my favourite the whole way through, and grief just took over. His face when he saw the Princess, just before she was shot, was one of pure joy. It was so cruel for her to be taken at that moment. Though really it's hard to know if Inaho or Asseylum are dead.

I do love an open ending like that.

Akame ga Kill ep 12.

Blue Spring Ride ep 12 (complete). As usual with anime adaptations of ongoing manga nothing was resolved. Really needs a second season.

Fate/Zero s1 ep 7-8.

Feeling poorly so I took the day off. That means anime time!

Gargantia 1-4

Starting my rewatch on BD. Looks gorgeous in 1080p so far and the dub is very good.

Akame ga Kill - eps 11 and 12.

What a difference a few months makes. Back when this first started, I just didn't get the fuss over it at all. But now I'd probably say it's been my favourite show of the season. Unlike SAO and A/Z which started incredibly strongly but then petered out with a lot of padding, this has just got better and better with every episode. It's funny, it's bloody, and the characters are brilliant. What a revelation.

Between Ritsu, Taiga, and Amy, Cassandra Lee Morris has quickly became my favourite dub actor. I'm looking forward to hearing her Patema more than I'm looking forward to watching the film!

The Blu-ray is a great transfer of a beautiful looking show. The colours, the lighting, the skies, the detail on the ships... dem rosy gurl cheeks <3
