That reminds me that I need to pick up the BD sets. Though I do recall when I last watched it things went a bit 'Shinji-Mode' in places, made somewhat worse by the fact it's a long series so they can have characters mope for 6+ episodes in a row.

My Dad's not pro/anti animation, in general he likes thing that have a good and fairly serious plot line. There's not major amounts of that around unfortunately. (Too much moe and fanservice)

Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica the Movie Part 1: Hajimari no Monogatari [Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie Part 1: The Beginning Story] (Japanese Dub) - Film

This was actually an awesome recap with cool OP & ED added to the mix. Surprised the pacing was well done.

I'll be watching Eien no Monogatari [The Eternal Story] in August and hopefully get Hangyaku no Monogatari [The Rebellion Story] soon after.
 
SAO II e.4 - Simply The Best, although for quite obviously unacceptable reasons.
ALDNOAH.ZERO e.4 - Another week, another feeling like I need to rewatch all the episodes again to better put all the tiny hints about what is really going on into context. This show has become excellent.
Akame ga Kill! e.4 - Hilarious. Although for quite obviously unacceptable reasons.
Zankyou no Terror e.3 - These riddles are getting quite obtuse. The show, however, remains essential.
Rokujyouma e.3 - I guess this was better than last week? I guess sempai is cute enough to carry on watching? Someone please tell me what I should have on my schedule instead of this.

SAO II ep 4 - after seeing this, I can shamelessly say this is probably my favourite show of the season. Just... yeah. Brilliantly done.
 
Tokyo Ghoul episode 4. Really strong episode, can't wait for Tsukiyama to get his comeuppance!

Also started watching Akame ga Kill, seems fun if a little generic.
