Sengoku Basara: Episodes 5 - 10
Mini Sengoku Basara: Episodes 1 - 3

Annoyingly, it looks like each season is missing 4 episodes of the 'Mini Sengoku Basara' specials...
Which version of the series do you have? The remaining 4 episodes are Blu-ray exclusive (this is actually the reason why I haven't picked up Sengoku Basara yet, confusing stuff).

Manga's version, which is DVD only. Just annoying that they would put a handful on, would rather they put none at all lol

This weekend

Madoka Movies 1 & 2 - Mixed feelings on these as they are basically the TV series with some touched up animation, a few new/revised shots and changed music in places. Still an enjoyable watch, some of the music changes felt a bit off as I was expecting the older themes. I have to say I like the way they altered the nudity near the end, that just seemed out of place in the original. I think these would be good to lend to people compared to the series, 2 movies seems more watchable compared to 12 eps, even if the run time is not much different. Just need to wait for a dub release of movie 3 now.

The Devil is a Part Timer 1-5 - Quite funny and enjoyable so far

I have it in the defective disc thread for this exact reason; season 1's are a least available in some form but when Manga UK decided to ditch BD for season 2 they should at least have ported all of the content over or been upfront about the discs being incomplete. FUNimation's listings clearly stated the omission. Sloppy work.

JJBA: Stardust Crusaders ep17

Given the buildup that preceded it, I felt the finale of this one was a bit anti-climactic. I suspect it may come over better in the manga, where I gather Jotaro ora ora oras for three complete pages.

Best scene was probably the crowd throwing change at Joseph, having mistaken him for a crazy old man in care.

I did see that, but it just said they were missing from season two, so I was hoping that it was just a case of a simple error, like with the OVA for Blue Exorcist being in the wrong part etc but nope, it's missing from both seasons for the DVD set.

Hey guess what..... ..I'm trying to get my dad to watch monster

I said if he wasn't interested in the first 4 episodes then he didn't have to keep watching it........but he's watched the first 2 and I think he's hooked........And he doesn't like anime

Just two more episodes and I'm sure the next 2 will real him in

Glasslip ep 4: Deece. But not special. Full of the same cliches that inhabit 99% of similar anime, so far at least.

Patlabor OVA 2: I love animation from this era, you know, when animation was really animation. Good episode, genuinely made me laugh in places. I love the mech designs and how they totally impractically carry giant revolver shaped laser guns or whatever. Might watch a couple more eps tonight.

Gintama (Japanese Dub) - Episodes 48 & 49 (25% COMPLETE)
Nyaruko: Crawling With Love - Season 1 (Japanese Dub) - Episodes 10, 11 & 12 (COMPLETE)
The Devil is a Part-Timer! (English Dub) - Episodes 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13 (COMPLETE)

Eureka Seven Episodes 3-6

Watched 4 episodes this morning before I headed out. Turns out i'd only seen the first 5 as 6 was all new to me. Cast is really growing on me.

K-On! - Episodes 1 - 4 (Sub)
Space Dandy 2 - Episode 4 (Dub)
Sword Art Online II - Episode 4
Akame Ga Kill - Episode 4

Didn't expect a musical episode from Space Dandy. It never disappoints.
At first I was wondering why Funi decided to dub the first song, then the rest of the episode happened.

Eden of the East: The King of Eden
Eden of the East: Paradise Lost

Completed Eden of the East now. Going to catch up on some new series before I move onto something else.

That reminds me that I need to pick up the BD sets. Though I do recall when I last watched it things went a bit 'Shinji-Mode' in places, made somewhat worse by the fact it's a long series so they can have characters mope for 6+ episodes in a row.

My Dad's not pro/anti animation, in general he likes thing that have a good and fairly serious plot line. There's not major amounts of that around unfortunately. (Too much moe and fanservice)

Watched Jormungand season 1 today which finally finished my backlog. ( would have been done yesterday but decided to rewatch Accel World instead)

Time to buy some more i guess...
