Dragon Ball 1-18

Going to be watching Dragon Ball as I acquire the Manga UK Boxsets. I noticed on the 1st disc that it contains the 1st Dragon Ball movie is that exclusive to the UK release or did the US Blue Bricks have the movie as well?

Patlabor OVA EP 3-4:

wow, really good episodes. Both endings were particularly strong, almost poetic, if that's not hyperbolic of me to say. I mean, the climax of episode 3 is surely one of the most intriguing and unexplained things I've witnessed in an anime episode in quite some time. It's like something out of a Murakami novel or something. I feel like it may have been making some allegorical point I'm clearly missing. But either way, fabulous.

Psycho-Pass e.16 - One of the most exciting episodes I've seen in years, probably the second best of the show after episode 11.

Tokyo Ghoul e.4 - On a list of "things you should never be asking yourself", "why has this strange man brought me out to this old mansion and told me to take a shower" should rank a lot higher than it seems to for Kaneki.

RAIL WARS! e.4 - OK, I know this show has certain lines of play that it feels are stronger than others, but seriously guys, pls. Pls guys. Halp.

Barakamon e.4 - Everything is just very cohesive in this show, you really feel like you have been transported to the countryside along with Handa.

Tokyo ESP e.3 - This was a lot more entertaining than either of the first two. The decision they made with episode one just looks even worse in hindsight.

The end of episode 3 is by far and away the most bizarre moment in these 7 episodes. It's one of those times when you're not sure if the intention was to make you think, or make you laugh - Personally I lean slightly towards the latter, especially after Oshii & co pulling similar "The characters are treating this seriously, but it's obviously ridiculous" moments in Urusei Yatsura.

Aldnoah.Zero - Episodes 1 - 4

A bit late to the party with this one, but so far this series is really good. The OST is great too as expected of Hiroyuki Sawano.
Looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Eureka Seven Episodes 7-16

This show is really growing on me. Quite a sweet show at times but then it turns to fast paced edge of your seat action. Interested to see where the story will go.

Indeed, that is what's so great about it, it's all played so dead pan.

Gundam Wing - episodes 5-9

Not as good as Gundam SEED, but much better than SEED Destiny. Considering how old the show is now, both the animation and plotting as a whole stand up remarkably well.
