Date A Live (Japanese Dub) - Episodes 3 and 4

Yeah I also decided to stick with the Japanese language in the end, the voice acting felt a bit off in the English dub.

On a positive note, I'm loving the music in this series.

Yes the 1st few minutes of the dub really set alarms off in my head, something not quite right, it seems to have settled down now (I've stuck with the dub)

Watched episodes 3 - 9 this morning.

Also loving the music, that menu tune is surprisingly catchy

Fairy Tail (English Dub) - Episodes 37, 38, 39 & 40

The power of friendship! Pretty much sums up every battle so far.

That battle reminded me of One Piece (during East Blue (and the end of Baroque Works), Luffy beating up the villains (I think this happened twice) by slamming him into the air).

PSYCHO-PASS e.10 - I'm liking this a little more in some ways (the core plot has improved) and less in others (Kogami has taken too much of the spotlight).

Jormungand 2 e.4 - This is still pretty great. Expanding the cast for a few episodes should prove to be fun.

ROBOTICS;NOTES e.5 - Well then. This is going further down the rabbit hole than I expected. I don't know why I expected it to be any more "normal" than its sister series, but the setting (and set-up) has certainly made this last episode or so feel like more of a curveball than maybe it should have done.

Blast of Tempest e.11 - Sure was a lot of standing around talking at each other. I think I might even have heard "If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must acquit" in there somewhere.

Onii-chan Dakedo Ai Sae Areba Kankeinai yo ne! Specials (Japanese Dub) - Specials 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6

That Plot.

And Plot Twist.

Quite a surprising twist at that I found.
Let me guess... he's not really her brother?!

If you're not enjoying the first half of the series then I'd just stop now. The first half is the good half, whilst the second half just gets worse and worse as it goes. They just couldn't decide what they wanted the series to be, and don't even get me started on the ending.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure - Episodes 6 - 9
Date A Live - Episodes 7 + 8 (Sub)

Nice job Funimation. Whilst I don't have the exact timestamp for the episode, at around the 3hr 4m mark there's a line missing in the subtitles for episode 8.

2014 isn't a fantastic year for Funimation to be honest.

Anywho..

Tenchi Muyo!: War on Geminar (Japanese Dub) - Episode 3

So many 'WTF Kenchi' and 'Oh Dear' moments with this episode, loving it.

Date A Live - Episodes 9 - 12 + OVA (Sub)

Can't explain exactly why I liked this series so much, but I really enjoyed it. Probably going to get Season 2 to watch sometime this week since it's finished airing, assuming I don't end up watching a certain other series.
