iv seen it the fans was pissed and demanded it to be re dubbed * wiki *its like they was making this dub on april fools day, i was pissed about this i was hoping for something like ghost hunt but instead got a all out pop culture reference and stereotypes - dame you dubbers-

iirc, the DVD still had the Japanese version with accurate subs. Also, all of the changes were apparently approved by the licensor.

Honestly, if they had just translated the Japanese script and went with that, I think the show would have sucked. I have to say, it was a good decision on ADV's part to make the script more comedy-orientated
 
Today I'm going to start rewatching Nadesico.

The reason for this is mainly journalistic. Other than writing up reviews for both this site and MyM, I also work as the main TV and radio reviewer for a Northern comedy website called Giggle Beats. My editor has agreed to let me do a trial run of columns about comedy anime series.

I've chose Nadesico as the first series to cover because it was the first comedy anime I ever watched. Also it allows me to cover two different genres that appear almost solely in anime - mecha and harem. So I should have plenty to write about.

Well, I say "Job". At the moment the only one that pays me is MyM. Websites tend not to pay unless they do print as well. For me, these columns are mainly a way of getting notice by more established publishers, and hopefully turn it into a full-time career.

i changed my plans again

i ended up watching the whole series of darker than black season 2 including the OVAs

going to watch to love ru in abit and im putting the world of narue to one side for now
 
So far got through the first 12 episodes of Nadesico. Probably watch episodes 13-21 tomorrow, then 22-26 and the film on Tuesday.

I cant get enough of this show. I've not seen such complex female characters in anime for a long time.
