Dude, I don't think Zawikizz has much relevance to the viewing journal, so next time you have a problem with something, PM a moderator.
sorry but............ i dont know how lol

Click the PM button under my post ;) or go to your messages above the thread and click Post Reply to the grumpy one I sent you a while ago. The other moderators are Ryo and Arbalest. You might catch us online if you check the userlist at the bottom of the main forum page too.

We can't always zap people instantly since we have jobs or school etc, but if you give us a nudge and we're free it will get sorted ASAP.

On topic, I can't stop watching Sengoku Basara ;_; I seem to go through phases of being passionately in love with the series, and being able to move on with my life and do other things.

Mazinkaiser Episodes 3 & 4

Shuten Doji Episode 2

Out of curiosity, is that the new Mazinkaiser SKL or is that the OVA from a few years back?

It is the old one. I got both shows as a twin pack (2 cases, 2 discs each).

Ah I see, fair enough. I managed to pick up the OVA last year when play had it on for dirt cheap in its complete collection guise, defintely one of the best things I bought that year.

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha eps 1-5 - Oh man, why had I not watched this before? Pacing is somewhat all over the place, budget is limited, but Nanoha and Fate are just too top tier. Fate edging it for me at the moment, but I have a feeling there are a few notches of epic for Nanoha to move up before long.

Quite appropriate this one, given Doraemon's current avatar there.

Space Adventure Cobra - The Movie

Wow. I really wasn't expecting anything other than a dry-run for the first few episodes of the tv series, but the film is actually a real curve-ball. The gist of it is broadly similar to the first plot arc of the series, but it provides a vastly different take on the proceedings. The series is an old-fashioned pulp serial, the film is more like some sort of surreal psychedelic dream. Dezaki really pushed the boat out on this one - I think it's by far and away the best use of his unique directing style I've yet seen.

Was actually watching this one as part of my film review-exchange vlog thing, so expect a more in-depth review soon.

Steins; Gate eps 1-3 - show has started off mad fun, time travel silliness is usually entertaining and most all the cast seems likable (I would also say I love a lot of the character designs but... HE'S A GUY). Okarin is so far off his rocker you can't help but want to see what happens next, or should I say what is "really" happening.

edit: Aria ep 3 - ups and downs with this show, fairly entertaining if entirely too played-out A plot, the new girls are also making Aria look bad. :-/

Nanoha eps 6-9 - this show is going by incredibly quickly, both in terms of being very easy and enjoyable to watch but also because the plot just goes whoooooosh. Power levels are rising to more exciting levels, too.

Showamonogatari ep 2 - you really don't get many "normal" slice of life shows, so it's tempting to think that something is going to "happen" soon, but this is so far a very sweet, relaxing show. The anime equivalent of a cup of tea and a crumpet before bed time.

Totally agree with you there, the cobra movie is so unique and surreal in everyway and as you said Dezaki san was at his peak and really showcased his genius in this movie, after his sad passing i,ve been re-watching his work,i,m half way through Oniisama e just now also watched One Pound Gospel today,i,m still deeply deeply saddened that we will never see his vision and unique style ever again,it is a void that simply cannot be filled but at least his work will live forever.

Lensman

I haven't watched Lensman for about 15 years and I still think this is a good movie, if you ignore some the 80's CGI the animation is fantastic, they really don't make them like this anymore!
