Detective Conan episode 1135 Like before.

Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! episode 11 Out of line.

Monogatari Series: OFF & Monster Season ONA 10 Second homeland.

My Hero Academia 7th Season episode 156 Winning side.

Plus-Sized Elf episode 12 Talk down. (Complete. A premise that wore thin quickly and the characters weren’t all that interesting despite being varied in species.) 2.5/5

The Elusive Samurai
episode 11 Cease.

The Fable episode 24 Bury.

Yatagarasu: The Raven Does not Choose its Master episode 20 Guard. (Complete. An engaging drama fantasy, and one I’m glad I gave a chance to last season.) 4/5

Toriko
episodes 118-123, 126-129, 132-142

Terminator Zero ep1-5

Reserving judgment (day) until I reach the end, although thus far I’ve been much in agreement with what everyone else has said; the characters could do with being more engaging and they’re definitely playing the hits, but it’s well enough packaged that I haven’t been put off by that.

I saw Macross Plus Movie Edition at the cinema last night.

I suppose it's been about 25 years since I saw the OVAs on VHS when I was a young teenager. Going in, I hardly remembered anything about it - despite having two CD soundtracks that I've played to death over the years! (Same with Macross 7. It's been decades since I watched that show on VHS fansub, but I can still sing along phonetically to most of the songs, lol.)

So happy that I got to see it on the big screen. Gorgeous artwork, engrossing story, absolutely loved it. Looking forward for the blu-ray release so I can compare it to the OVA edition.

ATRI -My Dear Moments- Episode 11

Dahlia in Bloom: Crafting a Fresh Start with Magical Tools Episode 12 (Complete)

My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 18

Plus-Sized Elf (Uncensored) Episode 12 (Complete)

Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World Episode 11

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest episode 12 Seal.

Mission: Yozakura Family episode 25 DNA.

Narenare -Cheer for You!- episode 12 Afraid of fear. (Complete. This had its high and low points for me, and was ultimately rather forgettable.) 2.5/5

One Piece
episode 1120 Killing shadow.

Tower of God Season 2 episode 12 Legs.

Toriko episodes 143-147 (Complete. This was a fun watch but felt toned down in places, reportedly censoring battles compared to the source material, which I intend to check out so at least the anime succeeded in that aspect and was still worth the time despite its flaws.) 3.5/5

Touch
episodes 1-11

Terminator Zero ep6-8

Yeah, that was pretty good. Much as it’s blatantly borrowing from the first two only two films which were ever made, I think it does enough to feel like a distinct entity in its own right. It would be nice to feel a bit more attachment to the characters (a shiny penny to you if you can name all of Malcolm’s children without looking it up), but this is a good looking and surprisingly compelling action series, which I imagine would still play well, even if you haven’t seen any of the franchise before.

A spoiler-tagged comment about Malcolm which I can’t get the tags to work for inside a quote
I like that actually, it would have been kinda neat.

Last night on Blu-ray:

First watch:
- Akiba Maid War Episode 1: I'm not really sure about this show. Nogomi, in my opinion, just has the wrong voice and the show didn't get me wanting to watch the next episode.

Rewatch:
  • Konosuba: Season 1 OVA
  • Konosuba: Season 2 Episode 2

Yunyun is such a joy to watch, especially with Kayli Mills' voice.

Dororo (2019, English dubbed) - This was amazing, and I liked how it tried to value non-violence without acting like everyone should just become a pacifist monk... it was a beautiful show and I'm glad I watched it, I wish all the best to Dororo and Hyakkimaru (warning that the violence is pretty grim in places definitely earned that 15 rating and I had to cover my ears and shut my eyes a few times) :)

I'm now watching Godannar (English dubbed), and I started watching Beastars S2 subbed but might continue it dubbed (def gonna watch it all, I love it, just a matter of picking which language to continue in!), hoping to finish these two and Mob Psycho 100 S3 soon! :)

I really really am looking forward to your review of Godannar. 😇

Delicious in Dungeon (dub) eps 1-3
If I had been watching it weekly (actually did Netflix do it weekly or was dropped in one go?) and not heard the hype post airing I might have dropped this at the end of the these 3 episodes. Amusing enough and nice art and animation, but at the moment it's just the same thing happening over and over. I saw one YouTube video thumbnail claiming that it is up there with Frieren, but that grabbed me straight away.

Shy Season 2 Episode 24 Reassurance. (Complete. Despite being pretty much more of the same, I did find this to be a somewhat stronger outing than the first.) 3/5

Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf
Episode 25 The Journey continues. (Complete... for now. A solid first season for this adaptions retelling - for which I'll definitely be watching the second season.) 4/5

The Ossan Newbie Adventurer, Trained to Death by the Most Powerful Party, Became Invincible Episode 12 Trading blows. (Complete. Though nothing special this was a fine watch overall with it's varied core cast of characters.) 3/5

Mayonaka Punch episode 12 Admission. (Complete. Not a bad watch but also not a series I’m in any rush to revisit in the future.) 3/5

Shy 2nd Season
episode 24 Home. (Complete. This was a better season than the first, and made watching it a bit more worthwhile in my eyes.) 3.5/5

Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf
episode 25 Changed attitudes. (Complete. Though the arc towards the end of the series was one I wasn’t especially fond of, I’m still glad this new adaptation turned out well, and am even more glad the story is being continued in the future.) 4/5

The Ossan Newbie Adventurer, Trained to Death by the Most Powerful Party, Became Invincible
episode 12 Humoured dream. (Complete. This was a decent watch despite my reservations going in.) 3.5/5

Touch
episodes 12-23
