It did seem almost like an afterthought. Still, Gunbuster's ending is amazing and it was cool seeing it from a different perspective. Apart from the gratuitous tittage it's the only thing I liked about Diebuster. Trying to be positive here!Lupus said:I'm just surprised you're not saying how badly DieBuster heavily relied on the original ending of Aim for the Top! to come to a closing.
I'm wondering if I need to see this one. Finantial? Trading talk?Ryo Chan said:spice and wolf ep 3

That would be a third track for BBFC to approve at the cost of a few quids (8??) per minute, which would take the profit of their cheap releases. It's a shame though.fabricatedlunatic said:EDIT: Oh, and I had little option but to watch in Japanese because there's no sign-only subtitle track and a lot of on-screen text. Seriously, Manga, everyone else can do it so why can't you?
I understand that they should be techically the same, but I've seeing somewhere that BBFC charges individually for each track. Even though it's sign only subs. I remember the MVM guy mentioning they had to pay for stills simply because it played them automatically, instead of allowing the user to browse.fabricatedlunatic said:I don't think it would because a sign-only track wouldn't contain anything that wasn't in the main subtitle track. MVM and Revelation manage to provide one, and they're much smaller than Manga.
Not always. While this is broadly the case (which more or less means greedy distributors kowtowing to the BBFC anyway), but there have been some notable examples of actual "censorship" in the BBFC forcing cuts regardless of age certification and outright banning films / games. In this day and age to carry on with the attitude that the censors have some kind of moral authority over others and know what's best for the public is just archaic.chaos said:The idea of a BBFC criteria amuses me.
Also, Ayase mentioned censors. How does this censorship works in UK? My understanding is that most distributors censor themselves in order to get lower age rating for whatever they are releasing, as it increases their revenue.
Isn't that always the case, except for pornography?
