Another good episode. Olivia plays a bacterial version of "Pokemon GO". A recent shopping trip turns into a slight misunderstanding between the girls and a home made board game causes embarrassment for the girls with a few amusing references to other shows.

Conny tries to reconcile with Ayano with some encouragement from Yuika, and Uchika returns home to see Ayano which IMO wasn't the best choice considering Ayano's state of mind and her feelings towards her.

Hidaka tries to get closer to Yaguchi and a class trip to Kyoto nearly turns into a disaster.

This wasn’t a bad couple series, shout out to a conveniently timed review of season 1 by @IncendiaryLemon for getting me to give it a go, biggest bug beat I have with it is the ending, it doesn’t have a satisfying end, things are going on then it just seems to stop whilst having given you details about what’s going to happen next, it peeves me when stuff like that happens. At least have a satisfying conclusion between each season if nothing else.

Asobi Asobase -workshop of fun- episode 8 Hunting bacteria, telling lies and playing a bizarre board games, the latter of which was probably the funniest segment in the series so far.

Attack on Titan 3rd Season episode 43 Setup and exposition AoT style.

Hanebado! episode 9 Not sure what Connie expected from this endeavour, but seeing Ayano go from cute and quirky to that soulless player made it clear that their relationship is basically nothing to her.

Planet With episode 8 Some backstory, comedy and Kuroi breaking down at the thought of further conflict.

Drifters OVAs 1-2 - Continuing the story where season 1 ended. Not really much to say aside from the usual comedy antics and an introduction to Tamon Yamaguchi and the United Merchant Guild.
 
Dropkick on my Devil! episode 8 Jashin develops a gambling habit and more shenanigans with Pekora.

Holmes of Kyoto episode 8 Investigating a difficult relationship situation.

Kakuriyo -bed & breakfast for Spirits- episode 22 Aoi confronts one of her biggest fears in physical form.

Phantom in the Twilight episode 8 Amnesia is a lazy story trope and I'm sad to see it used here.

Steins;Gate Zero (Dub) episode 17 Mayuri finally admits her feelings and yet another tense climax.

Sailor Moon S episodes 121-127 (Complete. This was still fun but the repetitive storylines didn't do many favours with only a few really standing out. I also didn't care for the newer characters who just sort of hung around acting pseudo-antagonists for the most part. It was a good season but arguably the weakest so far, especially some face-palming decisions along the way.) 3.5/5

Doctor Who The War Machines Chose a random story from my collection and decided to watch it. Do like a bit of William Hartnell, just a shame a lot of his stories are a bit slow and sluggish (or sadly missing.)
 
Gall Force 2: Destruction

A welcome return for the Starfront Fighting Gals (particularly Lufy) in a companion piece that fleshes out the story of the first film, but as pointed out on the Retro Anime Podcast, this is a much talkier affair than its predecessor, despite its considerably shorter running time, and the action is largely confined to two main setpieces. I'm curious to see how it'll fit together with the third film; at the moment, the new cast are so underdeveloped that their personalities feel barely defined beyond their character designs, and, strangely, the Paranoid alien antagonists were almost completely absent. It's still watchable and possibly even a little slicker to look at this time around, but if you needed proof that cynically splitting a sequel into two parts is not a new phenomenon, look no further.
 
Jet lag's a naughty bad word so I've ended up in bed before nine o'clock each night since I got back o_O
