Lucky Star-Episodes 23 and 24 (Complete)

That ending was rather abrupt. Oh well, at least there's an OVA that hopefully is a bit more of an ending. I actually had no idea an OVA even existed until I was told via the Discord chat, glad someone told me.

... prepare for disappointment I'm afraid. On another note, did you warm to Kagami? Or did Tsukasa Still win best girl for you?

I appreciate Kagami's place within the group as the straight man, but Tsukasa's adorable ditzy nature won me over. Kagami did have some great chemistry with Tsukasa though and I don't dislike her, however I am easily won over by cuteness.

Gurren Lagann complete
well its taken nearly 8 years to finish it so a few thoughts what I liked.

Outstanding production values its a great looking show
Loved the character designs
The story was quite unique and not like anything I've seen
the dub was pretty good as was the sound in general

what I didn't like:
Goes full on Shounen in the latter episodes, daft pompous speeches, massive ass pulls to explain why something is happening
Too silly and OTT for its own good at times
The ending sucked and I don't feel there was much of a payoff for the viewer

All in all it was enjoyable, original but flawed. Not something I would watch again it's not a show I love but I can certainly see why people do.
7/10

Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Side of Dimensions (English dub)

I'm going need more time to process this. It wasn't great, but I had fun, and I'm still dying from the, erm, choices made with regards to Joey's accent...

I saw it the other day. At least they attempted to flesh out the villian...

I very much got the impression that the film would have died on it's arse if 4K had played it straight.

Kinda felt like 4K knew it was a turkey and tried to write in as many jokes as they possibly could to cover for it. It was 40/60 hit-miss rate, but given the sheer number of times they tried, that isn't too bad. The jokes are what really landed with people, the fight scenes seemingly did not, and myself and others in the cinema seemingly shared the impression that the film was about 40 minutes too long.

It felt like the Digimon film, but without the excuse of it being from 2000...

Lucky Star OVA

Well, that Lucky Channel segment at the end was certainly something.

Owarimonogatari-Episodes 1-4

Counting Formula as two episodes, if anyone's keeping track ;P

Tanya the Evil ep5

At least, unlike Gate, we're not asked to cheer when our protagonists mow down enemy combatants who pose them no threat.

Konosuba II: Electric Boogaloo
ep4

Feels good man.

Space Brothers - Watched up to episode 65, decided to take a break from it now but it's overall a fantastic show!

Gin Tama - Been wanting to start on this forever and now with Crunchyroll I can! Watched the first 3 episodes, very good fun!
