It's been a long time since I've seen it, so I can't remember if it's explicitly stated or not, but I'm pretty sure it was at least implied. She even quotes the communist manifesto, I think.
 
Eps 17-24 of Aldnoah Zero...i really liked this. I was unsure what to expect as people were saying the second half was completely messed up, but to be honest to me it wasn't. I grasped the whole 'are they really human or martian' thing during the first half so i can't see how people were confused.

From the New World ep 19-21. Well, the stakes just got raised substantially. Squeera seems to be the Monster Rat equivalent of Alexander the Great.

Isn't Patlabor quite erotic anyway? All that grappling and majestic courtship dancing, usually ending with the electrifying climax of a rod being thrust through a gap in their defences... Dammit Rika!

I was meant to watch One Punch Man, MSG Iron Blooded Orphans, Young Black Jack and Concrete Revolutio yesterday but I had to catch up on some work for Uni.
 
From the New World ep 22-25 (complete). Well, that left me with a lot to think about. In fact I can't think of any anime recently that has left me with so much to ponder. The one theme that seems to have stuck with me the most is how extreme left-wing philosophies are indistinguishable from the extreme right-wing. It's a shame that the revolution failed, the power-users way of doing things needs to end. At least the message got across to the two MC's who might be able to gradually institute change over time. Shogun Squeara, I salute you! A second season set 1000 years later would be very welcome.

From The New World is a fantastic series - genuinely unsettling to the core and I think you're spot on about there being very little else like it out there. Also I appreciated it a lot that it wasn't afraid to go 'there' when tackling a yuri relationship.
