Of course from the New world is a great series.... It's one of those series that you wish would continue its story and stay in that world..... And to be honest I wish it did considering the ending on the subject

One Punch Man-Episode 4

A good episode but not as good as the previous episodes. I feel like the action and humour were both slightly lacking. Still not bad or anything and those other three episodes were a high standard. Looks like the basis of a plot may be forming which is promising.

Koimonogatari-Episode 1 (Rewatch)

I've been snowed under with work, so I'm not trying to catch up and all my simulcasts. Thankfully I'm not watching too many this time, but I still have Iron-Blooded Orphans and a few episodes each of Kagewani, Perfect Insider and One-Punch Man to catch up on.

Heavy Object - Episodes 03 & 04
This is really good fun and has improved massively now the exposition is over and done with. That said, the unnecessary fanservice is annoying, the Princess seems to have de-aged by about 6 years without Qwenthur and Havia there (presumably she looks older when they're all together so their perving looks less creepy), and Qwenthur and Havia seem to have had personality transplants with each other from the first episodes, if they'd played it right it cold be an interesting idea, but the way they've done it is really abrupt and it doesn't quite work. There's also some great funny moments that do get slightly trampled by how fast things move, and occasionally by how rushed FUNi's subtitles clearly are.

If you haven't been watching, I think the first couple of episodes are free on Animax at the moment, it's definitely worth a look.

Monster Strike - Episode 04

Ushio and Tora - Episode 17

YuruYuri (Season 3) Episode 4.

It's an episode about sleepovers, so that's a pretty good start. I did wonder if they were deliberately messing with my expectations in this episode, maybe it's their way of trying not to be too predictable.

At the start of the episode with Yui, Kyoko, Ayano and Chitose staying over at Yui's place, Chitose suggests that they bathe two at a time. I almost feel bad for assuming that Chitose had perverted thoughts on her mind, it seemed like a perfect setup to get Kyoko and Ayano bathing together. I suppose there's a good chance Chitose wouldn't have survived that so maybe it's for the best that things didn't go that way. It's interesting though, in the first season that almost certainly would have been the plan but they do seem to do things differently now. It turned out to be a pretty nice opportunity for some friendly bonding and I suppose it actually was nice to highlight that there's more to Chitose than nosebleeds.

The first years were also having a sleepover, which seemed like a fun time. Again, I was expecting some sort of argument or misunderstanding between Sakurako and Himawari but things didn't go quite the way I had expected. It's also interesting to see the way that Akari's character has developed. She can be kind of oblivious about things to do with her and she can often be clumsy but at the same time she can be surprisingly perceptive about others and quite intelligent at times. Little touches, like the way she tries to get a reaction out of Chinatsu, add a bit more to the characters. It is also nice to see Akari treated as more than a joke.

The sleepover with Akane and Tomoko was also interesting. Akane's story about Akari was quite a nice little moment and, while the other things we know about Akane might have twisted it somewhat, the show doesn't feel it necessary to go into that. It's hard to say what that is really supposed to mean, maybe it's acknowledging that there's more to the way Akane feels about Akari than just her fantasies (I'd like to think so, anyway). It was quite a good segment all in all (and the yuri here somewhat made up for having less elsewhere).

It was a little strange that the episode had an extra little scene tacked on at the end, it felt somehow detached from the rest of the episode. It was a pretty good scene really but it kind of seemed like the episode had run a bit longer than expected so they needed to do something else unrelated to what had gone before. Maybe there was some sort of relevance that I'd missed or maybe it being unrelated was deliberate for some reason.

It was a pretty good episde overall, I do like this show more as what it has become than what it was originally. It has been interesting to see it change over time as well.

Genius Party

This was really hit and miss for me,Shanghai Dragon and Baby Blue were fantastic while Deathtic 4 and Happy Machine did have their moments.Doorbell was a bit of a dud but my god Limit Cycle was just torture to get though.

Love Live! Season 2 - Episode 1

I couldn't help but be reminded about something thanks to a little scene at the end...

I had similar thoughts, Limit Cycle was a tough one and in some ways it maybe brings down the collection. I found Genius Party Beyond to be more consistently enjoyable. I suppose with them being a mixture of different ideas and styles then what works for one person could be very different to what works for another. It wouldn't surprise me if someone really likes Limit Cycle.

Koimonogatari-Episodes 2-6 (Rewatch) (Complete)

I kind of wish Hanekawa kept her white striped hair in later series. It looks pretty cool and is a nice reminder of the events of Neko Shiro.

Karneval eps 10-13 Complete

Quite enjoyed this series, entertaining and the visuals are pretty good. I can see why it's not rated that high though as it's quite generic/run of the mill.

Trigun Badlands Rumble

Great film, I was worried how they would tie it into the series but it was just a story with all the main characters that worked really well. Dub cast changes from the series (only Vash's dub actor was the same) were quite noticeable at times, it's a shame they couldn't get them all to come back.

Great Teacher Onizuka (Japanese audio) - Episodes 13-14

How to study - Onizuka style: Spend a week without peaceful sleep, eat PHA bread, eat fish eyeballs, have nails slammed into your head and spank a girl who wants you to lick her feet.
