Ghost in the Shell: Arise - Alternative Architecture ep 9-10 (complete). The story was left hanging, presumably for the next movie. A decent series overall, but not as compelling as S.A.C.

Last Exile s1 ep 22.

Sound! Euphonium ep 11.

The iDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls ep 12.

Shirobako-Episodes 7-12

Episode 9: Is it bad that I wish Exodus was an actual show? That ending sounds great.

Episode 10: It didn't make much sense to me that Misa would quit her job. Why didn't she keep the job she had then just quit when she has secured another job? Not only would this give her more experience but it would make sure she could still eat too.

Episode 12: The bit with not Hideki Anno was pretty great. I loved how his suggestion was to make the show darker. I really love this show now. It took a few episodes but I'm really into now. I just love the insight it gives into the industry and how much the characters in the show obviously care about anime and it's really satisfying to see them work really hard and going to great lengths to create anime and seeing the results of their labour. It really balances characters and story well and the characters themselves are quite well fleshed out considering the size of the cast and are all very likeable.

I was behind on a bunch of shows so I watched a fair amount tonight, however I feel obligated to mention:
ZA WARUDO - Episode 47
Arslan Senki - Episodes 1 - 4

That Jojo episode. Those Arslan Episodes. I think these two are at the top of my favorite shows this season.

Thanks for the feedback on SAO guys. Helpful :3

IncendiaryLemon - Loving your comments on Shirobako! Loved every second of that ride.

Last Exile s1 ep 23-26 (complete). Some of the best character development I've seen in anime, and a realistic view on how warfare and sacrifice can be both meaningful and meaningless make this one of the best anime I've seen this year. Some mysteries were left hanging at the end, but overall I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The iDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls s1 ep 13 (complete). Not quite as good as the main series but I'll be watching season two in a few weeks. I'm still not clear on what (if any) relation 346 Pro have to 765 Pro from the main series.

Shirobako-Episodes 13-16

Episode 13: I really hope Shizuka gets the job working on Third Ariel Girls Squad. I won't be happy until all 5 of the girls are working together dammit.

Episode 14: You're breaking my heart Shirobako! Also, when did Misa get a new job? They casually mention it at the end but I would have thought they would have made a bigger deal out of it considering the fact she left her old job took up one or two episodes.

Episode 15: I knew that the Editor would end up screwing them all over. Just when production was going smoothly too.

Episode 16: I may be slightly in love with Ema after that roof scene. Also, how the hell does everyone in this city get away with driving like they're in Initial D or something?

Persona 4 The Golden Animation ep 1

It is just me or does everything seem much shinier and colourful compared to the other Persona 4 series. Seems ok so far but this is pretty much the same as ep 1 of the other Persona 4 Animation series except this has added parts with a new character called Marie in it.

Toradora eps 19-25 (Complete)

Really enjoyed this series, actual good character development compared to other romance comedies i've seen.

I'm pretty sure they were done by different studios, so that's probably why they look different. Also, prepare yourself, it's downhill from Episode 1 IMO. After that it becomes incredibly disjointed.

Yeah you're right about each series being done by different studios, just thought it was wierd how shiny everyone is in this series . That's a shame, i had pretty low expectations anyway and hearing that from you just lowered them even more. I was waiting for a dub but Aniplex aren't doing one as it underperformed so i'm just watching the sub on Crunchyroll while i've got the trial.

Yeah, I was very disappointed too. Persona 4 Golden is my favourite game and just one of my favourite things in general. To do P4 justice in Anime form, they'd really need a 3 or 4 cour show IMO. I quite liked the P4 anime but even that felt a little rushed in places and totally cut out a lot of the social link stuff IIRC. Since the Golden anime is just an adaptation of the Golden parts new character just appear with no introduction and there are huge gaps in time and even filler because there isn't enough just Golden content to fill out an entire 13 episode show.
