The girl in the flashback is blonde, IIRC. Alya is Silver and the sister is Brunette in the current time, I guess to keep you on your toes, a bit like the quints all looking the same as each other when they were young, but all having a different shade of a similar colour when older. When I made my initial comment last year I hadn't seen anything.

Not anime but anime related. Started going through my movie backlog, watching stuff I didn't know I owned in some cases. Put on one movie today which had no (English) indication of what the movie was. Got about five minutes in before I realised it was a live version of Josee, the Tiger and the Fish. This was darker than the anime and there was a lot of boobies in the two hours, which I don't recall from the anime. Interesting to note that movie Josee, Chizuru Ikewaki, also voiced her character in the anime.

Also watched Festival (Korean movie about the death of a family matriarch), Gachi Boy (Japan high school wrestling team meets 50 First Dates) and The Witch Of The West Is Dead (teenage Japanese girl goes to a remote house in the mountains to live with her American grandmother and learn some practical skills). All very good, but I need a rest from subtitles.
